The longest night and the shortest day. Thank heavens for that cuz then the days get longer which is what I love.
I almost posted a video by Robert Plant called Minute by Minute, I'm not much of a Led Zepplin fan but I did like this tune for sure, look it up if ya wanna hear it.

I love your Christmas card.
I heard a carol, Oh Holy Night, on the radio this morning.
My friend used to be in the choir, and had an amazing voice.
I remember her singing that at Christmas Eve Midnight mass, and regardless of how tired you were, you woke, you stood straight and most of us had a single tear fall down our cheek.
I know that I did this morning, I miss her dearly.

Ahh, the winter solstice. I have mixed feelings about it, I will be glad the days start getting a bit lighter in the evening..but it reminds me that it will all too soon be too hot again.

I'm the opposite, I like it hot just not toooo hot, I could due without those 100+ temps we get around here.
