However you celebrate, I hope you had a good day yesterday. What did you do? Did you get anything really cool? Cousin #2 gave me a package of dryer balls. She wanted to use dryer sheets in my dryer; and I told her they allow stuff to build up on the drum and sensors; so that's why she got me the balls. We had a nice dinner and went into a food coma, including the dog. We watched Best in Show. 84 days until spring. Breakfast - PB&J sandwich Lunch - Turkey tenderloin, mashed potatoes, sweet potato, corn, dressing Dessert/Snack - Lemon meringue pie Dinner - Granola bar What did you eat yesterday? I also use dryer balls. For Christmas lunch I had an assortment of Italian cured meats, Russian salad, pickles and cheese a Panettone for dessert. For dinner tortellini in a light broth.

I’m glad you and cousin #2 had a good Christmas. I’m sure the dog was happy as a lark! Oh boy, what did I eat yesterday? Well, for breakfast I ate a hash brown. For lunch: frito and corn salad, chicken and dressing, tabouli, pasta salad, 7 layer salad, macaroni and cheese (the best I ever had), and a no bake cookie. I ate so many of the sides I didn’t even get any ham, pulled pork, meatballs…

Yes, the dog is a small Pomeranian; and he's starting to look like a sausage. Sounds like you had an abundance of food. I'm glad.

@LindaOHio It sure was a rare occasion. A tiny bit of each filled a plate.

I've used dryer sheets for years and nothing bad happened. *shrug* I had a hot peppered turkey and cheese sandwich for breakfast, made baked chicken, peppers and shallots for lunch and ate *shrug* something for supper last night. I can't remember off-hand what it was.

We won't have our official Christmas until the 10th, so yesterday was really just a regular day. For dinner I made Stoney's bacon and cheddar brats with buttered mixed veggies and fried potatoes on the side. Good eats!

Merry Christmas Linda! I didn't do anything for Christmas except lay on the couch and watch Christmas movies. I was completely exhausted from working 9 straight days at work without a day off. And I wasn't the only one; my gf and daughter also worked a ridiculous amount of hours/days leading up to the holiday. So we all actually enjoyed doing absolutely nothing yesterday. We'll make up for it next week when we go to Disney World for a week for our annual New Years vacation.

I'm glad you had such a good day- including hosting a dog!! Yesterday was a small food day though it added up. Main meal: bite sized cream cheese and jam sandwich, home made hand pies- mashed potato and cheese in them. Raspberries and cranberries. Pickles slices. Two chocolates.

That as a gift? But that is good you had company and a good meal. My best gift was probably cash lol, but got a few cool things. Also got a new video game, well that my son and I can both play. We had turkey (might have been a tenderloin too), mashed potatoes and gravy, and rolls. Also made a hot cocoa cake - it was okay.
