Where does your pet sleep?

Some people would never let their pets sleep with them, and some people could not care less. My dogs have always slept in my bed (or in my case, on my couch). I am so used to it when I spend nights away from Sadie I start to miss the ball of warmth by my side. In the winter it’s nice, but during the summer she really makes it difficult to stay cool (not that I’d ever push her away).
My mattress is shot so I’ve slept on my couch for years now. My couch that was messed up, but comfy, was, as you know, thrown away while I was at Disneyland. It was wider, so my dog could curl up by my side. The better couch I have now, that was my dad and stepmom’s, is not as wide, so Sadie had to sleep between my feet. She does not like that as much.

When it is cold he usually alternates between sleeping with me, usually by my feet or my side and a back bedroom that he has claimed as his own. it looks like a place where cat toys go to die..lots of mangled ones in there.

My baby slept with me. As she got older and had trouble jumping up on the bed, I made her steps out of cinder blocks (she’s been gone for 23 years, so they didn’t have the ramps that they have available now). My allergist didn’t like it, but I told him to lock her out of my bedroom (and my bed) would be tantamount to abuse, and I’d do better with the next pet.

Unfortunately I no longer have fur babies. The only place any of the dogs slept was in my lap in the recliner. Ice used to love to sleep on my lap.

Oliver sleeps 1/2 the night in bed with hubby, 1/4 of the night in bed with me, and 1/4 of the night in his cat bed in the living room.

Pets? You mean those furry people that roam around and sometimes cause problems? Depends. Beau Teak kitty sleeps by my face or on my pillow. Moxe- 45 pounds- sleeps near enough to my husband that she crowds him. Rufus is on the bed bench or floor. Fred and Peter are wherever they are in the mood to sleep or cause trouble.

My cat sleeps on the bed with me. If I am awake, she will curl up by my side (or her favorite --if I am sitting crosslegged on the bed, she will curl up in the space between my legs like it's a cat bed), but when I turn off the light to sleep, she will go to the far corner to be out of the way. Very thoughtful kitty!

As they are all huge dogs they don't sleep with us. But we have let smaller ones in bed. The cats sometimes join us

Mush sleeps in my daughter room but under her bed. She has a blanket under the bed which she curls up on. What can I say...she's weird
