I am off to Dollar Tree.

I am going to get some soap products and sponges this morning. I haven't been to Dollar Tree in several months. I know that it's really the $1.25 Tree now, and that many products there cost well over that. I've been fooled a couple of times. What kinds of things do you get at your equivalent of Dollar Tree? For me it pretty much comes down to soap products (including shampoo) and, occasionally, "yellow tube" antibiotic ointment. I don't buy food at Dollar Tree. Except for that sweetened iced tea in the green can. You know. Whatchamacallit.

No thrift store or mall here. You have nowhere to go to buy bargain products. If yoi want you must go to the capital city.

@TheHorse Nope. It's too far. Here in our region. And it's Bacolod, capital of Negros Occidental.

We haven't been to a Dollar Tree in several years. I used to buy candles there and, sometimes, different candy that you can't find in Walmart. (I like Cherry Sours and Coconut Haystacks. )

We have no stores equivalent of Dollar Tree, but I buy at our grocery store their brand of soap products and I have to say that those are very good products, better than some famous brands.

I haven’t been to Dollar Tree in quite awhile. The last time I went I wanted some cheap crafts to do with my niece when she came to visit. Other than that, I think tissue paper for gift bags is all I’ve ever purchased.

We don't hit our dollar tree or equelvents there of much anymore. Last time I think we bought band-aids. Our Family Dollar or Dollar General don't have eletric carts so George avoids them.

I buy a variety of things are Dollar Tree but a lot of the items are going up to $!.50 there. I have found that I can buy some things at Walmart cheaper than Dollar Tree.

@TheHorse That does make a difference. I don't go to Walmart very often so I always have a list ready of things that I can get there that helps save me a little.

I got several items and escaped for under $10.00. The closest Walmart is pretty far from me.

I get half gallons of window cleaner and Spiik and Span cleaners all for $1.25 each. Since the spray bottles of window cleaner and Spiic and Span are a lot smaller than the big jugs, I just use them to refill the spray bottles. Sometimes, they have a package of 36 dishwasher pods for $1.50 That's a super good buy, but they disappear from the shelves quickly. It wouldn't let me post this until I changed the spelling of spiik, it's a bad word.

Enjoy! We have that kind of store...it called OSAVE, the products there are cheaper, if you buy it from a regular store. Maybe because some of the products' expiry dates, when you buy it in a local store, you will see the expiry dates are set for 2 to 3 years, but in OSAVE, the expiry date is set for one year. But they are all safe and healthy.
