Strange desert weather..................

I know, I know, everybody else has had strange weather so what makes my desert so special, right? Well, yesterday it started raining, today it's been raining on and off all day plus it's been freezing cold .... ok, to clarify, freesing cold to me is anything under 45f/7c Now the weather peeps are warning about possible snow, ummm, NO THANKYOU I'm way past wanting to ever see snow again. And, to make matters worse, I have 2 leaks in here and neither one is near a water line ..... it's gotta be that rain that's causing the problems.

We have had light rain and some sleet all day. It's heavier this evening and more coming tonight. I'm not looking forward to the temps this week. Way too cold for the south!!!

Burrr, that's way too cold for our south. So far I haven't felt the icy cold we get because it usually happens in the wee hours of the mornings but with it only going up to 45f or so that's already way too cold for me.

Well, I know that it does not happen often, but we got snow in Florida once and torrential rain in Las Vegas. I am pretty sure that the 2 leaks are because of the rain.

@rebelann - We also had to fix a roof tile in Switzerland because there was a leakage when it rained.

Roscoe has never seen snow, he's 5 years old, so I'm not sure what he'd do and Tuffy never goes outside.

I'm glad you liked it. I keep trying to get more videos but they keep an eye on me and whenever I go for my phone they stop playing and Tuffy runs off, at least Roscoe lets me take a shot of him but that's it.

I hope the rain doesn't cause any serious problems with leaks and I can certainly understand why you wouldn't want to see snow. I'm sure many of us could show you pictures of what we're dealing with this weekend

Ohhh, I hate to think what you're most likely facing, that kinda snow would freak this whole area out, it sure did back in 1988 when we actually got 24" ...... I was 39 and still loved to see snow but not anymore.

I can't remember the last time we had more than a partial day or night of rain. I've had some real problems with plumbing here since October, I guess more needs fixin.
