On Friday my tummy ached. I told Martín not to come. And I prepared a bland meal thinking about bed and laptop. Firt the toilette was stuck. I tried to make it run but I had no streght. So I called Marco. While I waited for him, I discovered that the fitchen faucet was leaking. Tar had destroyed a great part of it. I hoped that Marco would help me with that too. Marco did come, bought what was needed, fixed everything and left the kitchen and bathroom floors as if ducks had passed through. After he went away with my thanks and some money less in my pockets, I went back to bed and discovered a whatsapp. The young lady who is selling my house wanted to come right now to show it. Or could it be on Sunday noon? I thought off the dirty dishes put away while Marco fixed the faucet, thought that first I would have to wash the sink and if I had had any voice left I would have yelled. As it was, I placed all the dishes elsewhere and started by cleaning the sink. Then I placed the dishes to soak. I decided that if I couldn´t wash them all, I´d hide them in the dishwasher. The dishwasher is not working but I have tried to make it work and it´s no use. I decided long ago that if my future was at a senior home, I did not need a dishwasher. But it still serves as a hiding place. After much work I cleaned the kitchen, put away some clothes in the closet, made my bed and took a shower and washed my hair. I went to receive them with my cane and they were all lovely young people who also played with Luna. When I was alone I took the longest nap and here I am. I even places 2 more pieces in the puzzle I have on my dining room table.

Oh, goodness! You had to hustle to get all that done! I’m glad you were able to get a long nap, as you needed one. I’m staying inside. We got ten inches of snow, and it is 14 F (-10 C). I’ll be staying home for a few days, that’s for sure. Sadie went outside, and came right back in to get under the blanket.

I dread when part of the day has 0 C! But usually it doesn´t get very cold inside the house. I don´t have central heating. Just 2 small stoves.

I´ll do it when my house sells. I don´t have the money to go to a senior home until I sell the house.

If someone buys my house I´ll spend the rest of my life at a good senior home. After I fell, I dread living alone.

@DaddyEvil My coxis is still hurting. But I decided not to spend money on X rays because there is nothing that doctors can do if I fractured the bone. One of my doctors sugested I buy a sort of pillow with a hole in the middle to sit and that helps.

@marguicha I understand. I fell in the kitchen last week and Pretty thinks I broke my nose when I hit the counter/sink. She made an appointment with my regular doctor to get x-rays.

I hope you are3 feeling much better now. Just have a fuzzy head from out temps bouncing around, today and tomorrow in the 70s and 80s and Tuesday down into the 40s. Not a good situation,

Where I live the winter is mild as compapred to yours. But there is a great difference of temperature between night and midday.

I do some cleaning of car and fixing minor repairs. My wife was busy laundering our dirty clothes and bathing our two aspin dogs.

I cannot bathe my dog now. So someone comes and takes Luna to his house where he bathes her, cuts her nails and cleans her ears and other parts.

@marguicha It's good someone is helping you to bathe Luna. We haven't trimmed the nails of our dog. We don't have a big nail cutter.

You had an exhausting day. I did the same in Switzerland with the dishes when someone came and I had not yet washed them. The dishwasher did not work, but it was a good place where to hide things.

Great minds think alike.

Today I had a lovely day though because Claudia invited me for lunch out. She had heard of an Elvis movie and wanted to take me to the cinema but I told her that I preferred to have some time with her instead of being at a cinema with Elvis. So we went to the Peruvian restaurant. I had the most delicious tiramisu dessert but could not eat it all so I brought it home.

Selling a house is very hard when the realtor doesn’t give you much notice. I’ve gone through that before and it’s not fun. Don’t be afraid to ask her to give you some time to be ready. They are working for you, they should be understanding about that. I hope you and Luna have a good day!
