I had no more posted my discussion about NOT having a snow day and moved on to start responding to all of you.
Suddenly my phone rang. And I had a text. We WILL have a snow day after all. Yipee!
I like my job, but there are things I can do at home as well. Like myLot.
I did not go to church today, they encouraged all of us to stay at home. I did, and was mostly lazy. That is a good thing.
Tonight we will have broccoli cheddar soup with bacon. Also probably yogurt and fruit. I am hungry thinking about it.

We stayed home from Friday through Monday afternoon, never going out for a thing.

Our schools are closed as well tomorrow. They were closed on Friday, too. The list of the churches and the schools and even a lot of businesses is so long it looks like a book! Glad you can stay home and stay safe.

Looking back over this week we could have been better off with staying home Tuesday as well. Our school is on three main water lines. One of them broke. A roof leaked. A bathroom froze up from the heater not working properly. We had some rooms too hot and others pretty cold.

Our schools were finally back on Thursday, although delayed start. I did read that one high school will be e-learning tomorrow as their heating system is completely down. Another school closed a gymnasium due to a leaking roof from heavy snow, so they had to shovel the roof off. Lots of issues to work on when it stays so cold for so long.

I'm glad you got a snow day... 
We didn't do anything today, either. I was awake most of yesterday so slept most of today.
I made steaks, green beans and potatoes in garlic sauce for lunch today and had a sloppy Joe for supper today.

That way they did not have to pay so much Sunday overtime for clearing snow from the parking lots and sidewalks.

During the active part of the snow everything closed but by Monday morning things were opening up. I was glad to have the extra day off.
