53 days until spring. That seems to be a moot point right now. EVERYTHING is closed today (1/26). We are under a Cold Weather Advisory. It will be 1F. I don't know how much s**w we got. 8", 10". a foot? The plow guy said a foot; but it didn't look like that to me. I hope you are all safe and sound and warm. The east coast is getting the brunt of the storm now. I hope you all have power.
It is going to stay in the teens through Sunday. I don't know when this cold will break. I feel for all the birds and other animals. One bright point...Sunset is now at 5:32 pm.
There will be no Meals on Wheels today; but I have some frozen dinners left. Sandwiches are gone. Cousin #2 will be coming tomorrow instead of today due to the weather. The contractor will be coming on Thursday. Cousin #2 will come on Tuesday instead of today.
ADDENDUM - The guy came to plow again. He said we have 18 inches. I don't know about that. He claims 6 inches fell since he plowed yesterday.
Breakfast - Granola bar
Lunch - PB&J sandwich, veggie straws, yogurt
Dessert/Snack - Nature's Bakery Brownie
Dinner - Chicken Margherita with Balsamic

We're at -8F right now. Our high is supposed to reach 19F this afternoon..
I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant and a fiber brownie for breakfast yesterday. I made fried steaks with green beans and potatoes in a garlic sauce for lunch and had a sloppy Joe for supper last night.

It's going to stay in the teens for highs through Sunday. Way too cold and way too much s**w. Winter sucks. I'm glad you and Pretty are OK.

The pharmacy called about our meds delivery that was scheduled for today. They won't be able to bring it. I told them that was fine. We aren't out of anything yet by several days.

I fixed homemade waffles wit pork sausage links, orange juice.
We went to Costco and after we were done. We got two slices of pizza and brought them home and ate them with a glass of chocolate milk.
Dinner Salmon patties, salad and a apple.

Cousin #2's cousin lived in Daytona Beach and has now moved to Ocala. She told cousin #2 to get rid of her blankets and warm clothes. Cousin #2 did NOT listen to her!!!

We got about 14 inches of snow and the crew is here now plowing, shoveling and snow blowing. It's music to my ears 
certainly feel so bad for anyone who has to do it themselves. Spring seems so far off even as you post the countdown.
Hope cousin #2 makes it there and that MOW will be able to deliver again.
Last night we had rigatoni pasta with meatballs. It was so good on a snowy night.

that much snow would be hell.
we saw snow falling on Saturday but it was light and wasn't enough to stick.
we are cold this morning, low teens but feels like 1 degree.
good that you still have power...

I do recall we had scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast, and I made a pot of potato soup for our dinner. I also roasted some carrots and they were super good. My son really enjoyed the potato soup.

Yesterday was roast dinner day . I had roast chicken, veggies and gravy. Apple and blackberry crumble and cream.
Stay safe with all the snow. We don’t have any at the moment ….im sure it will come though ….
