@LadyDuck I don't hate it, I just wish it was somewhere else.

*sigh* I'm so tired of snow, too.
We have snow falling right now... Tiny flakes but I can see them. I hope it doesn't amount to much. We haven't gotten rid of the last snow we got.
I hope you don't get much, either, and it melts off fast.

It'll take a flame thrower to melt all this snow.

@BarBaraPrz I guess we're lucky... It is melting here during the daytime, even if it isn't very warm.
I invited you to come stay with us but you didn't want to...

You'd be very cold, I'm sure, and not liking it at all.

Yeppers... but it's slowly melting, just in time for the next load.

And more came down since I took that picture. But the sun is shining today and it's only -11°C with a high of -4°C... If it stays sunny for the rest of the day, I might go out and chisel a way to the road through the ice bank the plows have kindly deposited.

A couple years ago we got an ankle's depth worth of snow, and I remember my neighbor saying "We don't usually get this much snow."

@BarBaraPrz ankle depth? now that's funny, I think we've been spoiled with the more milder winters the last few years.

I commented on this and hit the respond button...it disappeared. Only mentioning it in case the first comment decides to appear, maybe I did something weird. I am having that kind of day, anyway.
That is a lot of snow, and now more is on the way? I hope you can hibernate and be safe and warm. Everyone I know here is concerned about what the heating bills will be, myself included. They raise our rates now every time we blink. I miss having a fireplace, it always seemed to help with the heat and to be warm.

I had a gas fireplace in the last house... I miss it.

It just makes a person feel warm and cozy to be in front of a fireplace, toasting. I miss it so much.
