Just when I returned to myLot and enjoyed every moment here, I had to pause my activity.
I won’t go into the details, but hubs was so very sick. He’s starting to feel better today and well enough to eat something besides soup.
My brother made a batch of short ribs for us a couple of days ago not knowing his brother-in-law was ill. I picked up at his condo. I didn’t go inside in case I was contagious with whatever hubs had. It wasn’t the flu or covid.
So tonight’s dinner will be delicious short ribs loaded with carrots, peas, lentils, onions, potatoes, and whatever else was thrown in. Hubs believes he can handle a small portion.
So, what’s for dinner at your place tonight?

I'm so glad your husband is feeling better. I will pray for his continual recovery. We had steak and potatoes tonight. We got the meat on sale a couple of days ago.

I’m so sorry he’s not feeling well. Prayers for a quick recovery for him!
I’ll probably have soup and a grilled cheese sandwich and some pears. I think you win the tasty dinner award tonight.

I'm glad your hubby is feeling better and hope he is 100% very soon.
I laid out some pork loin to thaw this morning and am planning on baking it in barbecue sauce and microwaving a bag of vegetable steamers. (The bag I'm planning on microwaving has potatoes, green beans, carrots and onions in it.)

What a relief that your hubby is on the mend. Supper tonight...... so far there is a pot of lentils and spinach on the stove. I'm not sure what else I will make.
