When is your next doctor appointment?

I know some of you just don’t go to the doctor. I’m glad for you if that works for you. I’m going to the doctor tomorrow morning. Despite going back on magnesium full blast, I am having those same problems I had back in September. My dad and stepmom took me to lunch, but it was really hard getting from the stairs to the car, and back. Three steps, and I’m tired and out of breath.
They have a lab at the doctor so I won’t have to wait on that either.

That's convenient that they have a lab at the doctor's.

I'm so sorry to hear your having some health problems. It's good that you don't have to make another appointment for the lab.

Pretty just asked if I'd talk to my doctor here in town if she made an appointment for me. I asked why I needed an appointment and she said she wants to talk to the doctor about the appointment today and fill the doctor in on everything that has been happening lately. (The falls, the banged up foot, etc.) I told her to make the appointment and I'd go.
Pretty has started taking magnesium and iron again. The doctor told her to keep taking them and get blood tests once a month until her levels are back where they need to be.
I hope you'll be better soon.

@AmbiePam Since she's in the same network as the specialists I go to and the hospital here, I assume she can check the records any time she wants. *shrug*
You're welcome.
(Maybe you should talk to your doctor again?

I said this once and I will say it again unless something really unusual happened, I do not see the men in the white coats. Besides, if one got a hold of me and found out all the years I have not been checked he would do so many tests and assign me so many problems I would just probably die from anxiety.

Uhm... you know they don't automatically assume you're nuts, right? You might seem a little nuts at first glance...

@AmbiePam They annoy me. Because I have to drive an hour plus for a five minute appointment. She child had a orthodontist appointment today too, and it was annoying.

No, I've no doctor appointment. In fact, I don't need it. If ever I have a problem, I would not need an appointment from the doctor. Here you can see a doctor any time. You would have to wait for half an hour or so, and that's all.

I feel so bad for you and hope the doctor has some answers Having the lab at the doctors is a plus and I know I get my results back quickly when I have bloodwork done.

Sorry you are having those issues...but I am actually going through the same thing with only being able to go a short distance then being tired and out of breath. No idea why.
At this time I see my endocrinologist in June....but will be sooner if I get a positive before then. Since I will have to get my blood sugars way lower.

@AmbiePam I've gone through this for over a year. Hasn't gotten worse but doesn't get better. All my tests show up fine except my diabetes and low iron. I have been taking an iron supplement which I thought could have been the cause but it hasn't improved....unless my iron is just still low.

I have to do labs next week. Then the doctor after that if he doesn't like the lab results. So fun!
I am sorry you are feeling terrible. It doesn't sound good, being that tired and out of breath. Rest all that you can, Amber.

I already know the iron is low. I take prescription iron and try to eat healthy but it’s been low for a long time now.
