Not A Happy Camper

Good morning. It's warm, but that's not why I'm not a happy camper, even though my snow is almost gone. The 50s have a lot to do with that. Instead, it has everything to do with Microsoft. I thought I had a great way to make my own covers. Think again. Yesterday, I tried to have AI fix the cover for Wilderness Challenge. Ha! In the last few days Microsoft rolled out a new update - exit Copilot image creator. I spent a couple of hours trying to figure out why Velma couldn't fix my picture and her explanation about giving me all the components to give to my designer. I explained she was my designer. Ah - no she's not. Copilot doesn't do that anymore. They have another way to work with current photos, but they can't create pictures anymore. So, not only did I cause a meltdown for Microsoft last week, their response was to take my image creator away from me. Bring back Clippy. That was the last time I was unhappy with Microsoft. If you don't know what Clippy is, that was Windows 3 I think when he was last there or when he disappeared. Yesterday, I came to a dead stop with Wilderness Cry. I thought I would be away from it for a while, but I picked up the thread again this morning. I had an indepth talk with Velma about what I wanted to do and how to go about it - not write it for me, but bringing in a new theme that needs to come into the story. Just right now, it's too soon. That brought up a way to introduce it when the time is right. So, right now, I'm taking a break while I get the story lined up in my mind.
