Guess what happened with the doctor.

So if you read my discussion this morning I was nervous about seeing my unpredictable doctor. This is a doctor I cannot switch from. So, I get there, I talk to the nurse, and he hesitates. Why? The doctor is not there. Oh, but no worries. He’ll call me in a couple of hours. And if he doesn’t call me by 3:30pm, call them, and they’ll call him to remind him to call me. You follow that? I’m so glad I made the 40 minute drive for what could have just been handled at home.
Anyway, it’s 3:02pm, and no call yet. It wasn’t just me. A bunch of people were there waiting to see him.

You need to see if you can report him anonymously to the American Medical Association... There was no reason you needed to waste time and gas to go see him if he wasn't going to be there. At the very least, a nurse should have called and told you not to bother going in.

I absolutely hate it when doctors are overbooked like this. It doesn’t do anyone any good at all. The son had a doctor that did this. We finally had to insist he refer us to someone else who had time for him. Amazingly, he suddenly found time for the son. Oh, the things that make you go “hmm!”

That's crazy. Hope by now you've heard from him. I certainly don't understand how he can just let a bunch of people waiting for him and not show up.

Sounds like our cardiologist at the last clinic. However we know he was busy saving someone's life, so he is excused.

That is just so annoying and even more so because I guess there is nothing any of you can do about it.
