Today has been pretty enjoyable! I had a pedicure this morning, and it was so nice to get a foot massage. Later, my dad said where do you want to go to lunch, and we went to CiCi’s. They have the best unusual pizzas, and it’s a buffet for just $10. You can’t beat that these days. I know my dad was very appreciative I picked somewhere inexpensive.
My best friend is coming over tomorrow for my actual birthday, and I look forward to that too. It’s been a good day with a little exception I’ll write about later.
How is your afternoon/night?
*Pictured is a six foot chicken my dad found for my stepmom to put in their backyard. His grandkids love it, and so did Diana!

You need to get you a pedicure for spring! I read a book once where a doctor said if you spend any money on your body, spend it on your feet. Get pedicures because that affects your quality of life as we age more than anyone realizes. So even my dad gets them a couple times a year now. It was an eye opening book.

I am picturing your pretty pink toes. I may have to spring for a pedicure sometime. I have only had one once. I do not know if there are any CiCi's around here anymore. It has been more than ten years since we went to one.

Yes, definitely spring for a pedicure when you can. And go one above the cheapest. My dad got a couple, and he wasn’t happy with ithem. I told him the cheapest one you can get is basically minimum. I told him to go one above (just $5 more) and he was much happier. I never thought he’d get one until I gave him a book by Atul Gawande and Geande talked about quality of life. Our feet are essential to that (as you know).

Interesting chicken. 
You should know I woke up around 3:30 pm, so my morning/early afternoon nap went fine. I don't feel like cooking this afternoon so will just microwave a breakfast sandwich instead of making the pork roast this afternoon.
