For the longest time, I thought SPAM maybe came in three different flavors: teriyaki, jalapeño, and original. Then, an ex Mylotter talked about all the kinds she ran across. It was a lot! Now, when I think of SPAM, I also think of sodium. But someone on here, and if they are reading this they can follow up, said they’d have it with an egg for breakfast when they were growing up.
Do you guys like SPAM?

I haven't had any of it in years and years. My grandmother used to make it once in a while, as Grandpa liked it. I didn't really care for the texture of it.

I do not really care for it, but Bob does. Prefers the original. We went to the SPAM museum in Minnesota. The creation and sharing of SPAM was said to keep our allies from dying of malnutrition during the second World War, I believe.

When I was a kid I really enjoyed spam a lot. And since it was imported, it was pricey and only the privileged seemed to enjoy that.
Do you have chicken spam there? We do have it here but these days, because of the sodium I rarely eat them. Though there are low sodium ones.

When I was at school I thought we had Spam fritters ….i liked them .
However a few years ago I bought a tin of Spam…..I was feeling nostalgic at the time.
It was horrible. Nothing like what I had eaten at school.
Now I know what it is I am not rushing to buy it.

Haven't had any of it for years.. All that canned stuff is loaded with sodium. I went to the Spam museum in Minn. Though. You would never guess how many varieties of it there are.

Eww! Gross!
I wouldn't eat it when mom brought it home and wouldn't buy it as an adult.

My grandpa used to shred spam with the cheese grater and put it on buttered rolls or buns or bread wiht shredded cheese then threw it in the oven for a few minutes.
It was good.
I make spam and yams now.
We have bacon and teriyaki spam in the pantry right now, and spam singles.
