There's a War on our Pockets!

Not to sound like a broken record but have yall seen the price of gas and heating oil in the last 2-3 days. I guess we can blame Trump for this war we never asked for that's now costing us Tax payers a lot of money.
I know food and electric prices will be affected as well. We need relief, even making 6 figures combined with my spouse is no longer enough, I work my 9-5 everyday Monday through Friday and now I'm even doing uber after work for 2-3 hours a day. Feels like I'm just working myself to death all just to keep up with the bills.
Kind of feels like theirs a war on our pockets going on right now.
Anybody else feeling my pain?

It’s really bad. I am as frugal as I know how to be. I kept the thermostat as low as we could stand it for the extreme cold we’ve been through,we layered up and looked fat,I know. I cook from scratch, I repurpose if at all possible. I made a trip to the store yesterday, and I can honestly say that I every single thing I needed was more that it was the last time I bought it. Red meat is just nuts and it will go higher. All of our dairy is crazy. And we won’t even get in to the crazy produce prices, and the quality of produce has really gone down as well. All we can do is the best we can.
Talk to your family together, ask them to all be aware and to do their part—no wasted food, turn off unnecessary lights and gadgets, etc. Every little bit helps!!! Hang in there!!

I would like to be hopeful about it, but I am not counting on it, either. I am dreading the high temps we get here in the summer. I know with the price of what it cost us this winter to keep the house warm enough for survival, the summer will no doubt be even higher. I have a feeling we will be using fans a lot of the time if that happens.

My question is, why is that scumbag still in office? Why are people putting up with this?Vote Democratic..seems the only way we will get rid of him, unless he kicks the bucket.

It is true, the prices are hurting and its only the start of it all.
With the increase in fuel prices, our groceries will be going up due to the cost of transportation.
We're actually considering going to the reservation on the weekend to gas up, its a bit of a drive, but worth the savings in the long run.

He never should have been elected president, in my opinion! He's never been a good businessman and always ground his businesses and stole money from his business partners.
We NEED to get him out of office as soon as possible and get things stabilized as fast as we can under somebody else!

@BACONSTRIPSXXX That’s a tidy sum to earn. Glad it helps you out, but it could have been money in the bank if it weren’t for our added expenses these days.

I'm not with or against the man and hate talking politics but he is doing what others failed to do and is putting an end to Iran's 43 years of terrorist threats and nuclear desires. Just sucks on how it affects everyone globally

@BACONSTRIPSXXX It isn't nice that gas has gone up a dollar a gallon, so I agree about the prices hurting people.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX That's why we watch where our $
is spent, we retired at 62 A good while back
that's why we barely make 3.000 every month
with 2 power bills 2 water bills & 4 credit card bills
we use when we can't afford to buy enough food
for 3 mons, we do alright we're not in a hole &
we keep above ground.

I do not envy you
The people of America need to stand up and be counted,
Revolt, protest, hold Trumpet to account!!
Because it's not right , knocking on your pan , earning good incomes, and really struggling, whilst people who don't contribute at all get a free ride in life

Yeah, you’re definitely not the only one feeling it. Gas, groceries, utilities—everything seems to be creeping up at the same time and it adds up fast. Even people with solid incomes are having to pick up extra work just to stay ahead, which is exhausting. Hopefully things stabilize soon because a lot of folks are in the same boat right now.

Love the image you created as it really does say what we're feeling.
I'm with you and feeling the pain as everything rises in price. It's bad enough our heating bills went up with the crazy cold winter but now more money is pouring out of our wallets for everything else.
