I’m so confused by my title, but you have to cut me some slack. Another idiom for some of my foreign friends. It means to understand me.
I wanted to share a photo of my handsome, successful nephew with Viktoria. I don’t know if I have. They’re having their second ice cream after just leaving one ice cream place for another. How can they stay so slim?
Today hubs and I went out for breakfast and gabbed with our family and their better halves. I spent most of today catching up on notifications, and am now in the car on the way to our friends’ house for a barbecue. I know her husband is making ribeye steaks, chicken, and grilled fish. I intend to have a bit of each. I’m bringing a salad and white and red wine. It’s also a beautiful, clear evening.
I am thoroughly exhausted from the weekend, but I’m ready to have a good time, no matter what. No work for us tomorrow!

I hope you're having a blast.
I can remember when I was skinny even though I could eat a whole family pizza by myself but those days are gone and now I'm overweight. Ohhhh, to be young again ..... nah, I was pretty stupid back then, I'm ok with where I am now

@DianneN - I remember when all my relatives used to tell me that I was too thin, I have heard the same comment at my wedding, but I liked to be thin and never wanted to gain weight. Now I am 2 pounds above my ideal weight and I know it's because of the stress.
Chicken and steak ready made for dinner is great!!!

@LadyDuck And speaking of weight, hubs and I just returned from a walk together. His rehab called to postpone his appointment, because his trainer had to leave suddenly. It’s such a delightful morning here and was in the 60s heading to the 80s later. Listening to the waves on the lanai and having my coffee.
I was never skinny, but slim and never concerned about my weight. You’re one of the lucky ones, and 2 pounds isn’t bad at all. I’m sure stress has a negative impact on weight and everything else.
Hubs just left to pick up some crusty bread for steak sandwiches for lunch. All this talk about weight is making me hungry

Hubs and I were reminiscing about how thin we used to be when we were younger, too. We never even thought about our weight or how much we ate. I am 4 pounds above my ideal weight, but would love to be thinner 
It was a nice day overall and they made so much food than necessary! They insisted we take some chicken and steak home, so another night of no cooking!

@DianneN This is Friday and it is 45F here today. Our high is supposed to reach 50F today but I doubt it will. It just started raining.
We just got into the house when it started pouring. *sigh*
I'm glad you guys all had a great time and some free food, too!

It was easy to have a fun time with fun people. They made so much food that they insisted we leave with extra steak and chicken. No cooking required tonight! Hubs plans on picking up some bread for steak sandwiches for lunch after his rehab appointment this morning. Hope your weather is cooler today.

I love fish, but hubs will only eat cod. He’s afraid of bones
They has salmon and tilapia. I had the salmon which was done to perfection. I also pigged out on steak and chicken. They had too much food, so gave us steak and chicken to bring home.
