Doctor Visit Verdict

So I went to the doctor, and told her about the dizziness. I take some steps, stop and lean over, wait until it passes, and then I start walking again, and then do it all over again.
She wanted me to go to the ER, and I told her if I’m not better in the morning, I’ll go. She also said I’m downplaying this, and that if it were her she would have been at the ER already.
The hilarity of how stupid I look when I walk, bend, and then walk again hit me a few hours ago, and I had a nice laugh. Lastly, she did some bloodwork. That may give her a clue.
So don’t worry guys!

Hard not to worry when you have to constantly do that in order to walk and function! I really hope you get some answers soon!!

When will you get the result of the bloodwork?

@toniganzon In the hospital I get my blood tests results in about 30 minutes, no joke. At the doctors it takes a few days. But they don’t process my bloodwork in the office. They have to send it off which is why it takes time.

@AmbiePam That's quite long. We just usually wait for a few hours here.

Have you started any new meds recently?

No, but I wondered about medication too. The only new thing I did was take 2 Allegra D at one time because my sinus headache was so bad yesterday.
There’s no doubt I’m going to the ER tomorrow because it is ridiculous, Heather. I look like a loony toon trying to do anything, and I’m actually getting really upset at myself for having so many problems. I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

I would have been at the ER days ago personally. You don't want whatever is going on to get worse. Do you log these episodes to see if any new meds you are on could be causing it? It had a beginning..Was your BP good at the docs?

@snowy22315 If it is my magnesium again I’m going to be annoyed. I’ve taken it religiously since that ER visit.

@AmbiePam Very good.
..so we know it is not that...probably has to do something with your combo of meds..lack of sleep or migraine after effects.

That was a rather judgey response on her part, that she would already be at the ER.
I might be taking it wrong, as it is written and not said, but that was my impression.
You are just trying to deal with your primary care provider, and not add to the overcrowdedness of the ER departments.

I’m so sorry to hear this. You’re too young to be so ill. I hope your doctor can figure out what to do to help you by the blood test. I’d hope that you go to the hospital by tomorrow if this continues. I’m still worried, no matter what you say.
