And it Continues…

A couple of more days have gone by, and all I’ve done is continue to sleep. I did go to my doctor yesterday morning (not the doctor to ask about possibly getting a B12 shot), and she put me on aspirin. I wondered what age I’d get to before I’d end up taking aspirin.
Anyway, since Saturday, sleep has seemed to beckon, both day and night. I wish I could bottle up this ability to sleep and bring it out when I need it. Oh, well. I have an appointment next week ant the eye doctor. So I know I’ll be getting out of the apartment at least a little bit. I just can’t seem to keep my eyes open, even to write this post. It has taken forever.

Something is going on, for sure. Are you on any new meds, could they be mixing with another med and causing this, maybe? I'm so sorry, I hope there is a solution soon.

Has anyone checked for a UTI? Or other infection that is putting you to sleep?

You know what, snowy? I didn’t just take a double dose (with doctor approval), I took a magnesium that combined 4 different types of magnesium in one pill. You might have hit on the problem. Magnesium has never made me sleepy before, but I’ve never had the four in one combo.
And, thank you! I’m hoping to stay awake enough to catch up today.

@AmbiePam Your system might be getting overwhelmed. Too much is just as bad as not enough.

My father loved flamingos. What’s the aspirin for ? In the hospital they started me on a chewable aspirin.

@AmbiePam and @Tampa_girl7 aspirin has anticoagulant effects. so is recommended and some people say women should take 325 mg. It is a good "first aid" measure to chew an aspirin if you think you are having a stroke or heart attack as well.

@GardenGerty She told me to take 81mg, which is one, I guess. I think it has to do with being on birth control at the age of 45. Traditionally, they take you off birth control at 35 because if not your chance of a stroke goes up. Well, they kept me on the pill due to PCOS, and now she’s saying we need to lower the stroke risk if I’m going to stay on it.
