I was not here much yesterday.
My brother-in-law invited me, together with their parents and SIL. He was craving seafood, so we decided to go to the seafood market and the nearby restaurants that cook whatever you buy there.
It was actually a fun experience. We got to choose fresh shrimp, squid, and some mussels, and had them cooked the way we liked. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful, and it was nice sharing the meal.
Moments like this remind me how simple gatherings can turn into something special. Good food and good company really make a difference. And those unplanned moments makes much better memories.

@rakski Sometimes that's all it takes. Somebody making an effort.

I would never get to see anything like this where I live, the ocean is more than 700 miles or 1127 kilometers from me.
I love certain kinds of seafood.

I’m happy that you enjoyed your fresh fish and time with your family. We have restaurants here where they serve fresh fish that the fishermen bring in each day. We can’t bring in fish that we catch unless there’s a chef on board the boat. We have to rent those.
