4/8/26 - Meals

This war better be over by the time my grandson is 18. I love those penguins and so sorry to hear about that. I will check out sources for helping out. Don’t know what the 1% Club or The Floor is.

Some smoked sausage and tater tots. Making some chicken thighs in the slow cooker tomorrow. Stil plenty of ICe cream and ding dongs.

I hope all wars stop and no more young men are killed to please the greedy "Emperors".

I made pancakes for supper last night. We didn't have any wheat flour so I used the little blender to powder some sunflower seeds. I dumped those into the flour to increase nutrition and protein.

Ate jam and bread for breakfast.

Uhm, no thanks to the draft thing... I watched the Floor on Hulu today...I won't give anything away about the episode, but didn't expect it to be back already. I do understand it's probably easy since they film a whole season in like a week.

Endangered animals seem to be increasing.

Chicken taco salad for lunch, rice and veggies for dinner…and applesauce! I need a crate of that chunky peach applesauce, it’s so stinking good.

From 1970 until now, it was left to the man turning 18 to register after his birthday but we were all still supposed to do it. At least they're only talking about men from 18 to 26 years old. They're reinstating an automatic registration because last year only 81% of 18 year olds actually registered. It's still a federal crime not to register but they stopped prosecuting people in 1986 if they didn't register. They only refused to give them federal student loans or federal jobs and training for US citizens. I ate a chicken sandwich for breakfast, a plum and strawberries for lunch and then ate a beef sandwich using sourdough bread for supper last night.

Too many carbs yesterday. So today was a salad

That's sad about the Emperor Penguins. I hope we can bring them back from endangered. I had leftovers yesterday - Sweedish meatballs from the restaurant where I have Writer's Guild, and stovetop chili casserole.

I had salad for lunch and fish and vegetables at night.

I saw that in my FB feed. Does that mean people can be automatically drafted?

I went away and checked about this draft thing I think it's a great idea But sadly There are currently no plans to reinstate the draft in the United States, but discussions about the Selective Service System and automatic registration for young men have increased amid rising military tensions. Any future draft would require specific authorization from Congress and the president.

I'm so excited about the Floor coming back and the 1% Club (2 of my favorite game shows) Last night was our pasta night. I always look forward to Wednesday dinners

I hadn't heard about the reinstatement of the Draft. I will look that up.
