About the Sailboat and Stuff

The owner appeared two days ago with friends or family and pushed it close to our sea wall and anchored it. He was supposed to have had it removed today, but it’s still here.
I needed a day off from here today, so spent most of late morning and afternoon at the pool with hubs and some friends and new friends. Most of the talk was about the sailboat.
A group of us snagged dinner reservations at a restaurant that usually doesn’t take reservations for under eight people. We are a party of six and were accepted thanks to one of the men who knows the owner. We should be in for a treat. French food and no menu!
I hope you all had a wonderful Sunday.

Sounds like a good idea actually.
I would love to go to a place like that.
I wouldn't complain, unless it was Mussels

I never eat mussels, but my husband loves them. No mussels were served, and the dinner turned out to be exceptional!

Interesting sail boats still in use. Here in Kenya Motor boats are common. Glad a friend assisted you reserve in the restaurant. I hope you enjoyed your meal and entire sunday!

Sounds like an interesting restaurant you'll be going to tonight. I've never tried French food before.
I would love to go sailing. I've never been.

@DianneN .........I'm a foodie and would love to try it.
All the pics I see make it look so relaxing but with my fear of the water I doubt I will ever be scratching that one off my to do list.

As far as French food is concerned, all I can say is that it’s a gastronomical pleasure, but very expensive. We enjoyed every morsel we had. I hope you get to try it one day.
Never go sailing! It’s the most frightening experience I’ve ever done. You have to be on the alert so the boom won’t hit you on the head. Any other boat is more appealing to me, even a row boat.
