Way back when, I signed on to the Canadian Packaged Bread Class Action (price fixing).
And when I signed on to my email this morning, I saw that I got a notice from them. My share of the settlement: $49.11 Canadian. Not bad, as I suspected it would only be 10 cents or so. I'll take it, not that I've noticed the price of bread to be any cheaper or different among brands.

I got a settlement from AARP selling information to Facebook. Like you, I thought it would be a dollar (where cutting, mailing, and processing the check would cost more than the money I was getting). Oh, no, I got nearly $100!

@BarBaraPrz From what I read online, they just started dolling out the funds, so it may not have arrived yet, my last name is at the end of the alphabet.

@BarBaraPrz I just found that I did apply, the confirmation was buried in my inbox, still unopened.

I always join class action suits but only get around 50 cents US when I get a "settlement".
I'm glad you got enough to do something with.
