I am back from my travels!

That sounds like here..always with baited breath as to whether the delivery people will find me..welcome back!

I'm glad the new dryer is installed and working for you. You'll have to write some posts and tell us about your trip on the QM2. I'm glad you had a good time on your trip. The only new thing that happened here was me falling and hurting myself several times in different ways. My daughter, Pretty, made me go to the ER a couple of times when I came up bloody... I really hate going to the ER. It takes them so long to see me, even if they aren't busy. (I had to have stitches twice when I fell through a window in our garage and cut my wrist open and again when I fell down our front steps and split my scalp open. The ER doctor did x-rays for my scalp to make sure I didn't break any bones and told me I have adult onset hydrocephalus. (I have an appointment with a neurologist in September to see if that is bad enough I need surgery.) They told me I'd continue to have problems with my balance and memory until the neurologist could get me in for an exam. I can't think of anything else to tell you about right now.

@garymarsh6 Was there a tumble dryer on the Queen Mary? I’ve often wondered about how one washes one’s under linen while at sea.

Welcome back!!! it's so nice to see you and hear that you had a fantastic world cruise. The fact that you got your new dryer delivered so early is a miracle (in my book). I'm sure your wife will be happy now to be able to do the laundry

Good to see you're back. I hope you have photos of the Queen Mary 2 to share one day. I've never been on a cruise ship so it would be interesting.

That was excellent service, and perfectly timed so that you could christen it with a load of dirty clothes. Your trip sounds amazing. I hope that you post a little more about the trip itself.

Welcome back Gary, I missed you. It happened to me several time to wait on the road to show where people had to deliver our things. We lived at the and of a small private road. I am sure your wife was happy to have her new machine installed.

Our one and only cruise was on the Queen Mary II and we had a wonderful time although it wasn't a world tour. That's very early for a delivery.

That is quite a long journey! I hope you did not feel sea sickness ! How much time did you used to get on stopovers to different countries? Which all continents did you cover?
