Our power has been out since Sunday. The latest update is that power will be restored by 11 pm tonight. Thank goodness for the standby generator.
SIL arrives in Cleveland at 2:45 pm today. I put together a "swag bag" for her with some treats for her and her cat.
They started painting the house yesterday. None of it is within my view as yet.
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Stuffed shells, zucchini, carrots, banana
Dessert/Snack - Nuts
Dinner - PB&J sandwich, chips, cherries

I'm sorry about the internet. I always run into slow response time when I go on MyLot.

Power outs are annoying as hell. I wish I had a main source generator, but all I have is a dinky one. I can run the TV, a fan and a light and that's about it. Don't dare try to plug the coffee pot into the damn thing. It alone will break the circuit.
For dinner we had hamburgers on the grill with mac and cheese and green beans on the side. Nothing fancy. We didn't have actual buns so we just toasted some bread and used that.
