Everyone has a favourite song
So what this is
Is me asking you
To tell me here on this post.
What your favourite song is
And why it is special to you.
If you have more than one favourite song or several
You can list them all
My favourite song of all time is
Like a Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan
And a few more of his would be in my top 20

@snowy22315 I - Well those I used to play more were "Satisfaction" and "Paint it Black". I remember a friend menacing me to break my vinyl if I did not stop playing those two.

@Ineeddentures I just like it because it mentions my home state and I like the sound of it. I like everything by Billy Joel.

Oh man, a favorite song? That is way too tough to answer! I don't think I could pick just a top song, not even a top 100 lol. So many good songs out there.

@Ineeddentures Right now a song of anger would suffice lol.
But no, none really stands out. I honestly don't listen to music much these days.

My favorite is Merle Travis’ “Dark As a Dungeon.” Living in a coal mining state, I think it’s a brilliantly truthful and sad portrait of the generations of coal miners who never seem to break free from following daddy into that hell hole.

@Ineeddentures -- it's truthfully part of the problem of the southern US. Instead of "let's better ourselves," it's more along the lines of "let's do the same old thing mom and dad did: drop out of school, get married at 16, and spend our lives in a menial job."

I think Scotland was similar
Generational apathy and malaise
Still true to this day
But more with generations within families who have never worked
Girls getting knocked up at 14 and 15 just like them mommad lol
Rinse and repeat, no future,

Bob Dylan is the greatest poet and songwriter who ever lived.
I could fill a top 100 with at least 30 Dylan songs

There is nothing unique about her or her song
It's part of an epidemic of torture to the ears and eyes.

Hard to pick just one song. It depends on my mood. Usually I’m quite miserable, so choose sad songs. They say so much.
I too like Bob Dylan, and even choosing a favourite of his is difficult. Blowin’ in the Wind, Make You Feel My Love, and Must Be Santa are a few I love, plus your choice.

I have favorite songs both in Latvian and in English. My list of Favorties on YouTube has over 1,000 entries. But among them all the one that brings me back to my younger days is Glory Days by Bruce Springsteen,

I don't like the Deacon Blue one.
I can't stand them
Ross and McIntosh are as insipid now, if not worse than they were in 1985 and Vipond, well he should stick to Landward
Not the finest music makers to come out of Glasgow
Thompson's song is a classic
