I hope all USA citizens are enjoying this day, the last time we had something this special happen was in 1976 and I'm sure some of you were not yet born at the time. I'm sure there will be new coins created for this occasion but which one, the quarter again? I finally found one shot out of the hundreds I took with that coolpix I had that did not blurr out when I enlarged the image. You wouldn't believe how many of my photos are on my external hard drive I thought you might like this video

I was around in 1976 and remember all the brothers, sisters and their families gathered at our house for the 4th of July! Dad built a huge picnic table to fit everybody around it. Some of us kids sat in the grass while we ate barbecued chicken or hotdogs. (The adults sat at the picnic table.) I hope you're enjoying the 250th anniversary of the US!

@rebelann Thank you. Out of 16 kids, there are only 4 of us left now. I see my brother who is 4 years older than me every once in a while but never see the others.
