Finally!

Yay, my doctor finally called in my prescription this morning! I talked to the no nonsense nurse at the clinic about it, and he immediately went to his office and had him talk to me. I love that nurse; he gets things done. Is there anything you are waiting on someone else to do? I mean so often we are held up by someone who just isn’t doing their job.

Thanks, DE. I feel like you’re waiting for your neurologist to get busy moving your health “stuff” along.

@AmbiePam You're welcome. Yup! Nothing will happen until the end of August, though.

I am so glad to hear that the medicine is on the way. I'm just sorry that the pain doctor is not getting this done in a timely manner unless someone nags or chases him down. It does sound like he's either overwhelmed or just needs a very long vacation.

Well, he did disappear to Slovakia not too long ago with his fiancée. You may remember we showed up, and his staff was there, but he wasn’t.

@AmbiePam I am rather surprised he still has patients that this point. It's like he just doesn't really care.

I'm glad you got your prescription As a pain doctor you would think he'd be more attentive to his patients and how important their meds are. Maybe he misunderstood when he decided to be a pain doctor and thought that meant he would be a pain

I'm waiting for my ex to stop by to fix the quilt rack that my uncle hung. There's no rush though.

I don't think so at the moment. My doctor is very prompt about calling in prescriptions.

Nope, thankfully everything is good here right now. But I definitely understand about having a “go-to” person, especially in a doctor’s office!
