Yay, my doctor finally called in my prescription this morning! I talked to the no nonsense nurse at the clinic about it, and he immediately went to his office and had him talk to me. I love that nurse; he gets things done.
Is there anything you are waiting on someone else to do? I mean so often we are held up by someone who just isn’t doing their job.

I am so glad to hear that the medicine is on the way. I'm just sorry that the pain doctor is not getting this done in a timely manner unless someone nags or chases him down. It does sound like he's either overwhelmed or just needs a very long vacation.

I'm glad you got your prescription
As a pain doctor you would think he'd be more attentive to his patients and how important their meds are.
Maybe he misunderstood when he decided to be a pain doctor and thought that meant he would be a pain

I don't think so at the moment. My doctor is very prompt about calling in prescriptions.

You often find that Nurses have to give Drs a push to get anything done !
