Eerie Looking

That's what I thought last night looking at the sun through all of the smoke. You can see that it's pinkish looking. The smoke is still getting thicker here. If I didn't know better I would be looking for a fire near us.
Going to the auction soon. It's cooler today which is very nice. I guess that's one good thing the smoke is doing.

It felt like it was on fire when I walked out this morning. Before 11 AM the heat index was at 100. 
I’ve had lunch, and I have to go to the bank…then home to that sweet air conditioner!

Most of the windows are closed here..but I will check sometime today to see if I smell smoke. Good pic.

I have them open. It doesn't make a lot of difference with letting the dogs in and out.

That's awful. Are you wearing masks when outside? I have to be careful because I am sensitive to getting sick with bronchitis and lung issues. We get the fires here every year due to ongoing drought.

We had it alot stronger on Wednesday, you couldn't even see the sun, yet you knew it was there by the time of the day. I can say that the next day, was similar, the smell of the burn wood was strong, today began easier and this afternoon isn't all clear, but well on its way I feel. I am able to go outside without my mask now, although I do not want to go outside.

Hopefully there isn't one near you. I remember seeing the sky like that when we were having fires nearby.

@Ineeddentures Not really. Smoke can travel a long way. Especially when the atmosphere is right to keep it from rising
