I ordered some sheets

I got sheets made of T shirt knit. I think I will like them. I noticed hospitals buy those a lot now. I have had them a few days but Bob has been in bed most of the time. I put a new mattress cover and new sheets on this evening. I am looking forward to sleep. The last sheets I had bought were all microfiber. We tended to slip around a lot on those.

My first wife LOVED silk sheets and I hated sliding all over the bed and out of bed a couple of times! I do like silk pillow cases, though. I buy the 800 count sheets from Walmart. They're stiff at first but feel wonderful after you wash them a couple of times. I hope you love the new sheets.

I tried some satin sheets at my mom's and hated them. We are in and out of bed so much our sheets pop off the corners, even with the elastic "suspenders" so I am hoping the stretchiness ends that.

@GardenGerty I hated the elastic suspenders we used on the silk sheets. I told my ex she could keep the sheets when we got divorced. Good luck wiht the satin sheets. I hope you slip out of bed a couple of times onto your nice, soft carpet. I don't hope Bob goes slipping and sliding on them, though.

@DaddyEvil No thanks. No silk sheets. T shirt material sheets. No bedroom carpet, either.

I just use a top sheet since I sleep in my couch. But my pillow cases are silk to keep my head cool.

I better make my own and buy some t-shirt yarn. I think it would be really comfortable.

So would you crochet it with yarn, or knit?

I am hoping they do not come off the corners so badly as the microfibers have been.

I would always buy pure cotton sheets with high GSM and thread count. They become very soft and smooth after a wash. Though the price increases with the thread count, they are very durable and worth each pennies. I have some with me for two decades and still going good. I can't sleep on those slippery ones.

I had been looking at some new plain cotton sheets, but I think these are going to work as I need them to.

I'm not a fan of microfiber sheets and towels and stuff. I only like cotton. I bought new sheets recently. They're okay but don't feel like cotton.

My grandson got away with the mattress topper I had. It was so comfortable. Microfiber is nice but so is cotton blends. Hopefully you will get to try these new sheets soon.

Those T shirt material sheets are really nice. I've had them and they are comfortable and wash well. I'm not fond of those microfiber ones.

I don't like the microfibre ones. And I don't like silk ones. I haven't heard of those made of T-shirt knit.

I don't know much about sheets at all. We have cotton sheets I think Our days of slipping around on them are long gone lol
