Two Doctor Appointments...

First thing in the morning (Thursday), I go to the local hospital for an echocardiogram and first thing Friday morning, I see my regular doctor to update her on what happened last week at the hospital. She'll check the staples and may take them out for me. (Pretty said the hole looks like it's closing up nicely.) The neurologist was supposed to see me Friday but had to reschedule the appointment to the 24th of this month. I'm wondering if I'll ever actually meet her. Every time I'm supposed to see her, she reschedules or gets another neurologist to take her place. Anything new/interesting happening with you this month?

@DaddyEvil .......hopefully you'll meet her soon. Yes, the temps here have been 10 to 15 degrees cooler now for a couple weeks. Plus a little rain too. I do hope you start getting some cooler days very soon.

@celticeagle We have cooler mornings but then the temp jumps to 100F or higher for the next week, at least. It is 79F outside right now at 4 am. We're supposed to see storms on Thursday, according to the forecast. I'll believe that when I see it.

Oh, it’s not like you don’t have a major health issue that needs attention. Rescheduling again is totally fine. I hope you can finally get those staples out.

Interesting happening this month? I am expecting my new iPad Air to be delivered on the 24th. What makes it special is the engraved message at the back of the iPad. Other than that, nothing really to look forward to this month. Oh, I do plan to get a haircut. Probably next week.

I hope your regular doctor can remove your staples, you will feel better. Good luck for the neurologist. My only appointment is next Monday, I have to go back to my Bank. They closed the joint account I had with my husband and moved everything to a new account in my name. I have to sign some papers.

@DaddyEvil - I thought later that I could have opened another account and transferred the money through a few weeks. They would have never known. This is what I would suggest to do if someone can sign.

Thank you. I really hope so, too. When I added Pretty's name to my bank accounts/PayPal account, we thought that was good enough but I read something yesterday that said when I pass, Pretty will still have to move money from accounts with my name on them into accounts that are just hers. I think that's pretty silly. Her name is on the accounts, why do they have to be just her accounts?

@LadyDuck That's what I think, too. Nobody there are friends of my family so they'd never know if I was gone, anyway. Personally, I don't think it's any of their business if Pretty takes my accounts.

That neurologist sounds like she's playing hard to get lol, hope you actually catch her on the 24th. Glad the hole's closing up nice though, that's good news. Nothing much new on my end, just the usual grind.

Now we know that you have a HARD Head and those staples will be ready to come out!! Just going with the flow here. I usually make plans, they all got changed last week--so we are just winging it here this week day by day!

@kareng Have you asked your doctor for some meds for your hubby that helps with dizziness? IF I wake up dizzy or get dizzy during the day, I take a Meclizine tablet. It stops the dizziness after it gets into my system (usually after 15 minutes).

I was in the hospital for a week and had a test drain installed in my spine to take spinal fluid out to see if that relieves some of the spinal fluid pressure on my brain. It worked fine and I am able to walk normally again, think clearly again and am not dizzy and falling all the time. The staples were put in to keep the hole in my spinal column closed until it heals.

@RasmaSandra We got some sprinkles while we walked to the doctor's office this morning but that was it. It is 75F with 75% humidity at 7:15 pm. I'm glad they put in an A/C unit for you. Thanks. I always feel fine.

I have been working in my online business. This Saturday God-willing I will be going to a potluck they are having for a couple of friends who are going out of the country. I also will be stapling some books for kids for my moms friend who is a kindergarten teacher. Other than that, that's all.

I had an appointment this morning, it was about 30 seconds long. Allergist at the end of the month, and my annual faith retreat in a couple of weeks. Then, hopefully, off to look at the leaves changing! Glad your body is healing, and I hope those staples can come out. Staples are best left as an office store.

Thanks. I just call in to the allergist's office once in a while now. I haven't actually seen him in a couple of years. I enjoy the ride-alongs when you go exploring. I hope this upcoming one will be fun for both of us. Pretty keeps reminding me that the doctor may NOT decide the staples can come out just because I'm tired of them tugging at me all the time.

Thank you. Other than having trouble with my left and right, things went well this morning. Pretty keeps reminding me that the doctor might NOT remove the staples tomorrow. I'm just really hoping she will take them out.

Hope they will remove those annoying staples for you. Being rescheduled by the neurologist would make me mad especially since it seems as if you're always getting rescheduled. Nothing much happening here. No complaints as I'm perfectly happy to have a month with no extra expenses, etc,

Thanks. It is getting to be silly, in my opinion. We walked the few blocks to the hospital for my appointment this morning. Pretty was pleased that I didn't need to stop and rest before we got there or on the walk home.

That is a lot to have going on in just two days. I hope the echocardiogram goes well and that the staples can finally come out. Yes, it does seem like a full schedule. The echocardiogram seemed to go well this morning other than I can't tell my right from my left anymore. Pretty keeps reminding me that the doctor may NOT take the staples out tomorrow... She could leave me my delusions a little longer. This month is chugging righ along. I hope you have a good rest of your month.
