First I need to say that my forgetfulness followed me into Wednesday. I did not notice at first. When I got home I needed to find my phone. I knew I had it at the Veteran's Home. I was not sure if I had it in El Dorado when I stopped for gas. I had Bob's phone here, but I had to reactivate it and charge it before I could makes some calls. I called the home first and sure enough the phone was there. I also learned, on Wednesday, that Bob had a cardiology appointment today. In Wichita. I had it written down but had forgotten it. The aid I talked to about my phone was riding along in the transportation bus because there were three clients riding. She brought my phone to me at the appointment. I enjoyed visiting with her. Tomorrow I have an appointment with my primary care. Just a regular check up. Other than that, I shall stay home and be a domestic engineer. On my way home today I stopped in Newton, because I had a prescription ready. I also got my flu and covid vaccines and shopped. I went and did laundry, washed it anyway. I am drying it at home now. We have had almost constant rain. I do not like driving in rain, but I do what I have too. Now for about the last hour the wind is picking up. My thought is that I may go turn on my heated throw and take a chair nap. I forgot to call my daughter Tuesday night. I could not have called her last night without my phone, so we agreed I will call her tonight. Kicking off the month of October.

I'm glad you found your phone and was able to retrieve it with the aid's help. I spent about an hour after we got home from my doctor's appointment doing dishes, sweeping the floors and starting laundry. I need to go in and throw that load into the dryer. It was storming after we got home. Pretty rode her ebike to the Chinese restaurant and got caught in the rain coming home. At least she did bring home Cashew chicken this afternoon.

So glad that you found your phone and got it back! That is a big win!!! Just take each day as they come and do what you can. That is all you can do. Don't overdo it like I do all the time. I pay for it in the long run!!

I hate driving in the rain but sometimes we just have to it. I'm wishing you a beautiful month ahead

Sounds like a busy week, glad the aide brought your phone to you at the appointment. Rain and wind like that makes a heated throw and a chair nap sound perfect. Hope your check up goes smooth tomorrow and you get to call your daughter tonight.

I absolutely hate when I leave my phone behind. It’s usually at my dad’s house, and occasionally at church. I can’t even email my stepmom or dad to double check because all I use is my phone. I’m glad to hear you got your vaccines. My insurance requires me to go to the health department to get any vaccines, and I have no idea where that is. I’ll definitely find it for a shingles vaccine, but probably not anything else. I say that while wanting every older person in my life to be vaccinated (including you).

I sure wish we would get some rain. I should be getting my annual checkup soon. The doctor comes to my home so I will have to see when he will be out next.

I think it's normal to be somewhat forgetful, I've been forgetful of some things most of my adult life, not the routine stuff but stuff like appointments that are not routine.

It seems very easy to misplace phones. I’m glad you found yours.

I am glad you had the spare phone to use. I know I feel I always have to have mine handy, due to the son. No one hardly has a landline these days, so the cell is for emergencies as well as everything else.
