A day at Dixie´s.

marguicha @marguicha (230802) • Chile 29 Oct 24

I´m just back from Dixie´s. I went to Camila´s concert and slept all day today. I decided that it was because, as my nose was itchy, I took a Loratadine pill. For those of you who have sleeping problems, I suggest...

Happy Haunts: Winchester Mystery House

April @thislittlepennyearns (73128) • Defuniak Springs, Florida 28 Oct 24

With Halloween literally right around the corner, I figured it would be a good time to talk about some "haunted" places. I may keep this series going after Halloween, or I may shelve it until next Halloween. Only time will tell....

My 100 Favorite Charted Country Songs: Old Dogs, Children, and Watermelon Wine

Four Walls @FourWalls (89587) • United States 29 Oct 24

I try to remember who likes what; and, more precisely, who doesn’t like what. So this is not only a headache for Linda, but Jim will hate it because it’s — gasp — a story song! With apologies to both of them, here’s...

Kelli M There's a Baharat spiced butter cookie that I make during the holidays. It has many unexpected spices in it, like paprika, cumin, black pepper... but also warm, sweet spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom.

Kelli M Hey, you! It sounds like you've got a lot going on this evening. Tonight's plans here include picking out pumpkins with kids and making chicken wings for dinner. It's 67°F here too, although I have a hoodie on because I feel cold.

US voters, are you voting early?

Marie Coyle @MarieCoyle (64403) 29 Oct 24

Please note--I am not asking who you are voting for! I was curious as to how many people have voted early, or plan to, this week. I did vote early. My reasoning in it was a bit strange but...it was better than not voting at all....

Kelli M Yes, I'm planning to vote this week. Much like you, I'd rather get it out of the way while I can instead of running into an issue on Election Day and not getting the opportunity to vote.
