Seafood (People), Do You like Crabs?

I love seafood especially crabs. I would rather eat sea foods like crabs, shrimp and fish than meat. My family loves to eat sea foods than red meat. I guess eating sea foods is not for all. Some find them gross but for me I don't find them gross. I do find them nutritious and delicious too especially the steamed crabs or crabs with coconut milk. Yummy...

I like crabs very much. I often eat it,I think it is very delicious. I also like other seafood, as shellfishes,shrimp,and others.

i live seafood especially shrimp.but we do not prepare crabs at home,as my kids donot like it and are scarred of it.

To my taste, the most disgusting seafood is that which is breaded and fried. In other words, the top dishes in the US seafood diet. Crabcakes and other whatever-cakes, making some kind of ... thing ... taking perfectly good meat, mixing it with other stuff making a kind of meatloaf, breading, then deep frying it. This is a perversion of nature.

It is like boiling broccoli, cauliflower, and/or brussel sprouts into a soft, mushy, abomination that lacks any firmness, crispiness, nothing of what nature intended. It is better to serve it raw than to totally destroy every nutritional value with that kind of destructive cooking.

It's no wonder kids don't eat their vegetables.

Tempura shrimp I can tolerate, but only in a roll, surrounded by rice and sauces and whatever whatnots to disguise the crime of nature.

It was two decades ago, when I first tried oysters the way they were meant to be experienced. I did not like them too much before - I kind of like liver, but cooked oysters seemed to exaggerate the bad things about cooked liver.

Now raw oysters is another matter. It's like mushrooms when I was a child. I took my older sister's cue and hated them, but when I had the experience of sauteed mushrooms, I was from then on forever hooked (I think I was ten at the time.)

I think I will refrain telling my experiences about "Rocky Mountain Oysters ..." It's a tad bit off topic except for the name ... If you don't know what they are, just google it ... you'll get the picture.

Actually I will need to research further into sushi. Originally I thought sushi was really raw, unprocessed fish but I heard stories that there is some processing going on, between the catching of the fish to the actual serving. When I find the answer, I will let you know (unless another member beats me to it)

it is my favourite! I like it more than fish or chicken. i love it. another sea food my favourite is prawns and lobsters.

I am really not a huge fan of crab, but mostly because they take so much time to get to the meat! LOL But, I'd have to say I prefer crab. I think it has a milder flavor and I can buy it at a more affordable price to cook with meals.
