Do You Ever Purchase Used Shoes?  

I don't mind buying used furniture and stuff but I don't like the idea of wearing used clothes and/or shoes,who knows what kind of skin problems these people might've had? I know they wash and desinfect clothes,but do they do the same with shoes?
I've even seen underwear at a couple of places,that was just Ugh!..

Good advice. I often buy shoes at the thrift stores. I don't have any trouble finding ones my size so it's easy to find ones that are just slightly worn (look new except for the scuffs on the sole) and sometimes I even find brand new never worn ones there.

As a matter of fact the last pair I got was pumps that had never been worn and I paid $3.00. I didn't need them but they were really cute and a steal of a deal. It's been six months and I haven't worn them but I will yet!

Ewww! I am sorry NO! I will used clothing, but I don't think I could stand to wear someone elses shoes. That is like sharing panties or socks. I am sorry I just could not do it.

Used shoes would be not an item I would care to purchase. I need really good support and heels or my legs start to hurt with shin splints. I'd also be afraid of fungus infections, even though I know the shoes can be sprayed (like in the bowling alleys). I'm a little afraid of used clothes in general but get a lot of furniture, books and trinkets. Maybe, I'd pick up a good leather used handbag. Never, never underwear maybe the same for shoes.

I don't very often unless they look about new. I did buy my teenage son a pair of dress shoes that he will only wear once in a blue moon.

No, I don't buy used shoes. I have too many problems with my feet to do that. Now, the "other" roommate won't buy used clothes, but buys used shoes - go figure, you can wash clothes, can't wash shoes, and everyone's feet are different. Nope, no used shoes on my poor feet.

I don't see the harm of buying but the only problem is that you are not certain where it came from. Who knows, the one who last used it probably wore that shoe when he was hit by a car. You'll never know. But other than that, it's no problem

I have purchased used shoes but it has been many years ago. I didn't have much money at the time and got a good deal on them.

No I have never purchased used shoes & I know that I never will. I have nothing against buying used clothes, but for some reason just the thought that some eles' feet were once in those shoes causes me to cringe.

I have such problems with my feet that I would not want to wear shoes that someone else broke in to the way they walk, everyone walks differently, so I would not want them.
