Weekend craft sale: Very successful!

What do you sell in your yard? just craft or everything you want to get rid of? And how do you set the price? I am thinking to do a yard sale this summer too, since I never done one so I wonder what I should do. Sorry for so many questions. Thank you very much and wish you get good profit next time!:-)

Well, good for you. I hope you get busy and get all the things done for the next one. Have you ever thought of teaching them how to do things while your doing the sale. As it seems like something that mite be fun. As some people need other people to show them how as reading one of them crafts books is confusingand like me don't understand them. I mean really how are you to crocket something when you have no idea what there talking about. My grandmother showed me how and there was no wording involed. just brain storming as your really good with that kind of stuff. Your friend onlydia.

I have a friend whom has invited me to be part of her craft sale. However I don't know that I'll have the time to make anything much by fall. I have already 2 projects on the back burners after the blanket I'm working on. And the sad thing is I don't have the money to buy more yarn right now...

I will not be having a sale here till May or June. I will have all my Ten $ items made for sale. I want to have just as much sales as you did. It's nice to read such good things with the way the world is today. Good luck on your next sale.

That's great! The show I did last week was not very well attended, but those that did come to the show, were buying handmade items. The show wasn't bad and I've done other shows with many of the vendors, so there was much chatting and info sharing about future shows... I made more than 3x my fees, so in all, not a waste of time.

I'm glad to hear you did so well....don't you love shows when you have so very little to pack up at the end of the day? Of course that means you have a bunch of hours to put in at your craft table... but it must've been a great feeling to walk out with a good deal of $$!

Well, I have made Potholders in the past, and have done quite well with them. There for a while I was selling them faster than I could make them even. But I have not really tried selling Craft type items since I had some of my craft items in a Craft consignment type shop. I have bought Yarn again with hopes of being able to make and sell potholders again, but just never gotten around to considering getting them made as well.

Wow thats great, i also make crafts but do it on made to order basis and most of the timr I make that I give to people when its christmas and some other holidyas. Thank you for this activity and have a nice day.
