1. krajibg (2495) | 3 months ago | Hi,
A lot of things draw my attention. People, philosophy, life, nature etc. But usually I write on life mostly. Most of my poems and short stories are on life itself. And I think LIFE encompasses all other category for they are not detached from life.

krajibg (2495) | 3 months ago | No not at all why should I be a big picture myself? I was just telling that everything is related to life and my niche is writing poems and short stories and some time prose articles.
I agree from the vastness of life we need to pick up one or two niche.

It won a Muse Medallion from Cat Writers Association and is available from my publisher, Jorlan Publishing, or from Amazon. Autographed copies are available direct from me.

4. suspenseful (17092) | 3 months ago | I like to write fiction, and usually when I do it is about the adventures someone has to go through to get to his goal, which entails defeating the bad guys or women. Oh and while doing so, he has to go through forest, and of course I have to let people know where he is geographically speaking so there is a lot of "the trees were almost barren and he knew winter was approaching" As for ideas, usually the character has to go through a struggle like why is he where he is in the first place? Why did he forget? How come they do not understand? I am a Christian and I do not write Christian books like the soft type where there is no physical conflict of a violent nature, I tend to lean towards writing about characters who happen to be Christian and still have their regular jobs, and some of them might be in the military, police force, etc. I think it says about my personality that I believe that if you are a police officer or a sergeant in the army and you become a Christian, you do not have to quite patroling the streets, carrying a gun, and take a desk job, nor do you decide to be a corpsman and just tend wounds.

suspenseful (17092) | 3 months ago | Actually I am a bit on the practical side. I think that if the novel has 20,000 words in it, I expect that main character to survive, so I just give him enough conflict so that if he uses his brains, he will get through the day. I also think that in real life, that for instance, the character would not have started on a journey unless he were prepared. now if it were about refugees being strafed by enemy Nazi planes, then I would know they would not know what was going on or people driven from their homes, since they had no idea what situation they would be in. As for the stories being sort of a disguised biography, I doubt it. I do have a character who was in the military, and my father was in the army, and I do have cooks in the story since my father was also a cook, but I did also a lot of research as I did not want to think of it a reflection on my life or someone else's. I guess that is what distinguishes fiction from non-fiction, if you not know, you find out. I thought compassionate people wrote about women and children and wrote children's books.

6. Canellita (3256) | 3 months ago | People mostly. I like a good story; I'm not big on reporting on events or writing crticism. I don't mind the how to stuff for Helium but it does get a bit tedious.

Canellita (3256) | 3 months ago | That is why I like profiles, especially if the person does something I am interested in like art or music.

7. scheng1 (1684) | 3 months ago | haha Art, you really ask very funny questions! My most enjoyable form of writing is while playing online game. After a "war", everyone will start to scold each other, and the words are so colorful and so interesting. I bet we will never run out of things to write when we are in this mood to scold people. I think I have to find more things to complain, so that I will never run out of writing ideas. Wonder where can I post this kind of articles and generate thousands of page views?

scheng1 (1684) | 3 months ago | haha Art, the kind of language the gamers uses for scolding is perfectly unprintable. I think it will crash the whole system in AC. Maybe you can write about "how to scold your cheating husband". I bet you will get 10,000 page views per day for the next ten years! This is really a test of sarcarism and command of English! I'm sure you can invent many new words for the article and make millions of women studying and memorising the text by heart.

8. carolbee (6742) | 3 months ago | I love humor. Anything funny or that I find funny would be of major interest to me. I find humor in many people and things. Haven't been doing any writing lately at all except for responding to discussions here on myLot. Just haven't had the time. My imagination leans towards funny experiences in my life or with our family. Maybe one day I'll have the time to express my humor in the form of writing.

carolbee (6742) | 3 months ago | I can look back over time and find "funny" in almost everything I've done or seen. There is some humor in my everyday lifestyle even though I'm no longer working. Expressing it on the computer or on paper sometimes is difficult, I totaly agree with you. In a college, writing class the professor told me I had a wild and crazy imagination. I agree, she was right..lol

carolbee (6742) | 3 months ago | I do have a crazy imagination but don't always share it. Have been so busy taking care of our youngest granddaughter that I'm too tired to write. It's a chore but a blast.

9. Ravenladyj (17951) | 3 months ago | I would have to say that I'm mostly drawn to human nature and philosophy type topics....More so I think Human Nature...ppl and how they behave intrigues me to no end..I find the human mind and how we think/react etc etc to be a very facinating thing actually...

10. Trensue (1259) | 3 months ago | With these questions in mind I think perhaps I have multiple personalities because I am all over the map! It is the day and my surroundings that push me in one direction or another. In general I like to think that I care more about people than things, but I am not sure I am true to that either. I check my journal and that didn't even give me a real passion. I better find one - today!

Trensue (1259) | 3 months ago | I have to laugh because people are constantly asking me about my niche and it is completely lost. I have some causes, some thoughts and some skills - maybe what would be best for me is a life map. I would probably just ask someone else to write it for me!!
