ganesh
these words are just the synonyms of money
money teaches all these things
greed of money results in the terrorism
racism is also resulted when one sees that how a person of oppressed caste is earning more bucks then him
the corruption and money are the two phases of the same coin
the more money increase in a country more does the crime reate
as the money does not increase equally in all the individuals
richer become more rich and poor become more poor
thus poor also need money so they resort to other activity and they are easily exploited by the anti national people
money is the basis of all inhuman behaviour of ours
we are afraid of giving alms to a beggar
we sometimes not help poor as we think that they have made this a business
greed of money is making us ruthlessely inhuman
this race of money would resort to an ultimate end

Hi Ganesh, I really don't think so, most of these things have always been around. There many fine people in today's world but we never hear about them. For some reason people prefer to hear about crimes than about good deeds, so good news doesn't really sell. You have to remember as well that we hear about things that happen all over the world today, it wasn't true one hundred years ago. I actually have hope that that things are getting better. Blessings.

I think in this modern day, societal structure has lost a lot of what it once had.. and more people are lost and angry.. especially as they are taught the adult fairy tale we are animals.. so some act like animals.. which makes the religious unhappy and the extremists then become part of the problem!(some in far worse ways than others)

I think you are confusing two different words "human" and "humane". They are not the same.
People are becoming less "humane": but, they are actually becoming more "human".
When humans are young they are naturally greedy, selfish, cruel, and uncaring - human".
Children must be taught to share, be kind, caring and compassionate - "humane".
"Terrorism Racisim Corruption Low Moral values Fading LOVE" - are all results of "human" behavior. Being "humane" is something that must be taught and we are failing to teach our children and grandchildren how to be "humane" and why they should be "humane". So, they are simply being "human" instead.

"I m sorry the present eeducation system In our country has more to do with materialistic aspect of education "
It is not the job of our education system to teach the proper behavior to our children. It is the responsibility of each and every parent, guardian, and grendparent to teach humane behavior to children from the day they are born. If you wait until they enter the education system; it is too late and it is not the resposibility of the education system to teach these values to children!
That is a lot of the problem. Expecting the education system to teach children civilized behavior when that responsibility lies in the home.

Yes I m sorry I forgot the spelling of humane and I think right word shuiold be inhumane or less humane ,still thankful to most who still understood it and special thanks to re insert right word into my memory again ........
I do agree that we must teach our generations to be humane and keep themselves away from all evils but I m sorry the present eeducation system In our country has more to do with materialistic aspect of education and not the moral and ethical values and I donf find anyone concerned about it

Yes I think all the evidence present now suggests that people are becomming more inhumane and you have listed a few but there are many more such as greed ,intolerance ,murder ,rape so any more. When one person can rip of so many otehrs 5o billion dollars and think nothing of it .When one person can kill millions of persons because of their clour of their skin and think nothing of it and when other persons can spend money on billions of dollars on luxuries while people just a few metres away starve, then I say yes people are becomming more humane

Yes people are becoming inhuman day by day. Their moral values are deteriorating. People love only themselves and are indifferent to other's feelings. Leave alone the society the family members are very selfish and do not even think twice before they say harsh words. They are least bothered whether the other person is hurt or not. Children do not respect their parents and elders as we used to do. God only knows where we are racing for and i feel sad to say this.
Happy mylotting.

ganesh44 this is the same question some great sage asked in 1400 so we are no worse off then than they were back then. There are always bad apples but all the good apples count much more. I do not think we are actually as bad as way back in 1400 when most people did not give much credence to life at all. a lot more of us now do care.So even with all that is bad, there is still more good than ever before.

Yes, to some extent, this seems to be the case. We are becoming less tolerant of others and more and more greedy. We do not respect others that much. All these things you have mentioned have increased over past many years. This is the case even when we have better facilities , money and many things as compared to the past.

Hey Ganesh! I'm afraid that I do believe that human beings are
becoming more and more inhumane with time! People are caring
less and less about their feeling about others and their propery,
and their beings in general! It has become such a sad and violent
world now! No one seems to think twice about committing violent
acts against each other! If this continues there will me no
one alive in the years to come!

Hello my friend Ganesh44 Ji,
You atre absolutely right in our analysis. As human beings are so called advanced in technology and science, our human values are getting retarded. There is no feeling that we are blood-related. We are like robots, press a button and it will act. Should have been better, if we were not that advanced. Probably, this is a part of total distruction, 'Maha-pralay"
May God bless You and have great time.

No, humans are not becoming inhuman with time. What's happening is we are hearing about every little bad bit of news thanks to modern media and communications technology. And bad news is more sensational than good.
*
Fifty years ago, you didn't hear about most bad things that happen in the world simply because there was not the means or massive amounts of money needed to send the rotten news into your living room. Your daily newspaper would maybe report a dozen stories on it's front page full of dastardliness. Then the average American would fold up the newspaper, set it aside, and eat dinner with the family while the world got on about it's business.
*
Today, life is very different. The media doesn't like being shut off, it likes to blast like a bull horn 24/7. Even if you shut off your toys, someone else's toys play at full volume, you hear your father's nightly dozen stories in a dozen minutes. Then some one else's toys give it a go...
*
There are more people today. There were fewer people to kick fewer puppies per capita a generation ago. However, it's the gadgets who's population that exploded more than people or puppies.
