I guess I've hit the age where birthdays have become depressing.

You should celebrate. Enjoy your birthday. Enjoy life. 21 is not that old. Its still young. I am not worried when i turned 29 last March. For me, age really doesn't matter. Its how you enjoy and value life matters. So i suggest to just have fun with your birthday. Say thank you for all the blessings that comes in to you life and you still reach the age of 21.

Hey you're only 29 (I guess 30 tomorrow)! I'm 55 and don't encourage birthday cards or presents partly because my kids shouldn't feel the need to afford them partly because it's a green thing to do. Don't be down katsmeow treat yourself if one else will. Happy Birthday tomorrow mylotters want you and your opnions.

I am 64 and much lot older than you (and don't you dare say what does that old fart know)! It is hard when you have a birthday and no one seems to recognize you.

Sometimes I celebrate my new year and sometimes I don't. I am just happy to be around. But if you are depressed big time, please do not stay home by yourself, OK?

Sweety turning 21 should not be a depressing thing but a wonderful thing! You are young girl! It is true as you get older the gifts stop coming but it's not about gifts, yes they are nice and we all LOVE them =) but it's a celebration of being a live and well. It's about living life!! When I hit 21 yrs old i was so happy to go to a few bars and just order one drink! It was nice to show them my id and say "yup i'm legal now"!!!

Enjoy your day sweety. Life isn't easy and we all go through trials and tribulations but it makes us stronger and wiser as we get older. It makes us who we are!! I say go out and have a good time! Hi, so sorry with you. Actually i have less feelings on that auspicious day. I consider it as an usual day coz as i live in a village and belong to a lower middle cast family, we were not taught to celebrate with huge arrangement. Thats why our excitement was limited even still now.

When I was a kid, I couldn't wait to be 16, then I wanted to be 21. At 21 I was turned down when I tried to buy furniture on time (I was so mad because I Was 21!) Then 30 seemed old, but 40 was worse because at 20 I Knew I'd have it made by 40, ( I didn't!)40 was terrible because I thought my life was almost over! 50 was just so, so, but was happy that I could still walk without a cane. Then 60 came along and I was waiting for 65 to collect the old-age pension. The pension was nice and I was able to save some of it. 70 came along, and I was surprised that I still felt well enough to keep working. At 75 I began to brag about my age! Still working and feeling well, no crutches yet! almost 77 now, and no wheelchair in sight. Still looking after 400 colonies of honeybees. Hope for a big honey crop this season. Will spend the winter in my Mobile in South Texas eating Grapefruit off my own trees! What a Life!
