Of course I did regret putting houseplants out. I cover them at night right now. I just thought the blooming ones especially would enjoy the heat and sun--then it chilled off on us.
The reason I am sure it is spring is not the...

I would not like to consider dandelions as weeds as they are edible and pretty too
They do not grow here but would love them if they did. Rather than have weeds that do not flower I would prefer dandelions any day
I know...

Looking at this image it confuses me as to why there should be a field of dandelions when dandelions are considered to be a weed.
No doubt dandelions can be eaten but the question arises as to why anyone would want to maintain a...

This artwork took me 54 hrs. to finish..Working on this, helped me ease my frustrations in not seeing people's lips when they talk, because before this pandemic, I lost part of my hearing, therefore I had to learn to read people's...

Dandelions , fields of them are so prolific along roads and in people's yards. People cut them down all the time when they cut their grass.
But , why are they so fast growing and prolific? Did God mean for mankind to eat them?...

For a billy goat maybe.
But actually, I just watched a video on YouTube about edible weeds that are common and want to share this link with you.
I have dandelions in our yard as they pop up randomly in places.
I have heard...

They are good for salads, and wine, and a kidney and liver cleanser tea and for a coffee replacement..
Oh and they are good for honey bees. Yay.
If we did not have honeybees we would end up with very limited amounts of...

I have dandelions in my yard, and I need to mow. I will not spray. Dandelions, I am told, are nutritious plants.
Bees rely on dandelions to create honey. To sustain themselves.
So my yard it golden, with daffodils and yellow...

I'm not sure just when it is I really feel in love with dandelions. It may be when I ran through fields of yellow wildflowers as a child, or when I picked that first bouquet of dandelions to give to Mom. It may be when I had my...

This is a shot of a weed in my lawn. I hate weeds. But how can you hate something as beautiful as this. I am getting old and have forgotten what this weed is called, but if there is a flower then I don't consider it a weed....

Yes, the weed you have been trying to eradicate from your yard is actually good for you! They are high in vitamins, minerals and can be used for liver and gallbladder problems. Ref: The University of Maryland Medical Center...

Yesterday, I scoped out the situation. Chives are up, winter garlic is partway grown, dandelion greens are nice and small, and some of the mint leaves are nice looking out there.
Since I didn't do maple syrup (no time and...

attitudes/lack of understanding/thinking things should be a different way, not sure how to put it.
Before I mow my lawn, I gather or at least check out a 4 foot section. Then I gather, mow, and rest. Usually that's about all I...
