Wasabi is a Japanese horseradish. It is in the form of green paste. The Japanese love to have sushi or sashimi with wasabi. Wasabi has a very strong hot flavour. It is not like the heat that you feel when you eat chilli or black...

If you do, when do you harvest it? Does it grow hotter or milder if you keep the root in the refrigerator for awhile before grating it? And one more question... what's your favorite way to prepare it? I think I like it mixed with...

I love horseradish. I love it in potato salad, in sauces, and one of my favorite cheeses is horseradish. I remember thinking it was gross as a child. Just goes to prove how your taste changes as you get older.
