I don't remember how long it had been since the first one.
Today's root canal was done on the far back left lower molar. Tooth #18, for those of you who know teeth by the numbers.

The dentist said it was not a root canal. He said it was a little cavity. I have not had a little cavity in many years. Thus, I did not know what one feels like. However, it has been nine days since my appointment, and the...

Tonight we had a meeting at a friend's winery pertaining to defending our water rights. We got lost on the way because we missed a turn. It was killing me, because we were on the back roads and the sunset was gorgeous. All I...

I went on a boat ride
Down the Root Canal.
I met Sarah, Jessica,
Dorothy and Hal.
The ride was treacherous
And painful indeed.
I didn't know if my voyage
Would succeed.
But in the end,
My trip was a numbing success.
The pain is...

Rough Traveling on the World's Most Frequented Canal

I've gotten myself in a nice little anxiety attack now. I looked up some videos of root canals and saw how the dentist has to be so close to the patient and basically have their arms encircling their head. A big part of the...

I'm really in pain tonight! I developed a mouth ulcer on my bottom gums over the weekend. I think it has something to do with getting my teeth cleaned last week. Maybe the hygienist scratched my gum or something. And its in a...
