He Always Looks So Bored

celticeagle @celticeagle (195774) • Boise, Idaho 24 May 25

Every picture I see in the news of dear old Putin over there in Russia, he always looks so bored with it all. Rarely is he smiling or really acts like he is engaged in any way. Confidence, sure. Idiotic, probably. I think he just...

I am trying to get back into the habit of writing here. I have a couple other places I am trying to spend some time at, and learning how to juggle all of it right now is not going as smoothly as I thought. But I am here now....

What's going on the dinner table tonight? Share with us! I am taking it easy and having leftovers--homemade meatballs/sauce over zoodles with cheesy garlic bread. I'm doing a good job of clearing stuff out of the fridge. I will...

Do you remember MAD Magazine? What are some of the magazines you've subscribed to over the years?

The Horse @TheHorse (241167) • Walnut Creek, California 18 Dec 23

When I was maybe 11-years-old, I got a subscription to MAD Magazine. What me worry? It was really hilarious. In my adult years, I have come to realize how edgy and "almost adult" the humor was in that magazine. Since my MAD...

After starting to watch the news and hearing about the bombing of a hospital in Gaza I did not know where to look to. Reality was too terrible for me. Not even a piece of cake helped. Not even a letter from Carolina (the first...

More rain.

The Horse @TheHorse (241167) • Walnut Creek, California 28 Feb 23

It's down to a Seattle-style light rain, but we continue to get more precipitation in the San Francisco Bay Area. I haven't checked the temperature, so I don't know if Mt. Diablo is getting more snow. I enjoy the rain, especially...

I heard crunching at Kitty's inside food dish the other day and looked up from my desk, expecting to find Kitty enjoying her dry food. Instead, this is what I saw. When Mr Squirrel saw me watching him, he kept eating. When I...

I got to talk to an old crush last night!

The Horse @TheHorse (241167) • Walnut Creek, California 1 Apr 22

I had a crush on her in Jr. High. At our Jr. High graduation dance, I asked her to dance. She got mad and thought I'd only asked her because Andy (my best friend at the time) has told me to. I realized in that moment that she...
