Traceyjayne In my line of work boys always find something to use as a gun ….lego….pens ….anything. We do try and discourage but I think it’s a natural and normal thing for them to do . And yes, it is generally the girls who dress the dolls and do the cooking.

Jim Bauer This is something I hadn't thought of. But it's true. If I was denied something I wanted to play with, I made something into it and played with it anyway. Besides, the more you tell a kid they can't do something, the more they actually want to do it.
