Huh...my best 'earning day' of the month...and it is from something I didn't think paid me

Okay...as most of us know, we don't get paid for our own actions here. We don't earn to start a discussion, to respond to a discussion from someone else, to make a comment to a response (or comment) from someone else, or to 'like' something.
Those are all 'actions' we create.
We only get paid to receive interaction from another user.
If someone 'likes' something we do, we earn for it.
If someone makes a response to a discussion we started, we earn for it.
If someone makes a comment to a response we made, we earn for it.
If someone makes a comment to a comment we made, we earn for it.
But today I realized (even though it had been suggested before that it might happen) that we can also earn for comments not made directly to us. 
Let's say...oh...Gingerpher starts a discussion.
And I respond to it.
And then Alexistan makes a comment to me under my response.
Yeah, I earned for that.
And then Jublianofson makes a comment to me under my response as well.
And yeah, I earn for that.
And then Alexistan, Jublianofson, Fiddleerahrah and Michinglybyesome all start making comments back and forth to each other...but not to me...under my response.
I actually earn for those comments as well even though none are actually made to me because they are under my response.
I've been watching a handful of 'Lotters talking back and forth to each other today. I keep getting notified since the exchange is happening under one of my responses.
And my earnings are going haywire over it.
So just a bit of advice...if you are one of those that have complained before about people 'highjacking' your response and talking to everyone but you in it...you're earning something for all that.
*grabs bag of popcorn*
Meanwhile, I'm going back to see what else they say.

@JolietJake I can't quite work out what the problem is if it is hijacked. I guess maybe you could have more to say on the subject or whatever and others going off on a tangent stops that.

The few times it has actually happened to me, I always wait a bit and then just toss an off-hand remark in it to remind people I am watching

My sister and I once starts a discussion just to see who would hijack it. It became hard to follow as each person added to the discussion...but it earned some decent Mylot money.

Hmm. That is my problem. People do not converse under my conversations or within my conversations. Let's just face it, I am not particularly conversational.

I've had that happen before, and found it interesting. One time, two people had argument on my post about a character in one of Shakespeare's plays, and that was extra interesting. Thanks for clarifying the payout.
