I Want to Thank You All

I have been on Mylot for about 14 years now. I been here for several changes that took place on Mylot. It is a great site and one of the best I have been a member of in my 40+ years of experience online.
I have had my run-ins with the occasional oddball on here. Very few and far between. I can remember 3 that I have had to end up blocking. Why they chose me to latch on to and be so weird with I don't know. But, such is the human condition I suppose.
I want to thank you all. The friends I feel I have made here are such a blessing to me. I so appreciate your input and positive thoughts towards me. Thank you for excepting my ways and personality. My stress and depression make my thought patterns a bit odd at times and that is quite often reflected in my posts.

Thank you for being a great friend on here too. Some people aren't happy or they have opinions that can be so rude. In the beginning, I had a couple rude as well. A few that always had an argument and some that would critic my writing about grammar and spelling. In all, I had some great and still do. Have a wonderful day.

Well, I've only been here about 2 years, and I know due to things I can't control, sometimes I am hit and miss in here. It does take all kinds of people, and there are some really good people on mylot.

I have been here over a decade and there were times when my only contact with other people had to be here. During chemotherapy, mylotters helped me a lot.

@celticeagle Absolutly. I even found what is called a very special best friend in 2019 when I spent a week with Coral in Aruba.

About eight years for me... and yeah, I appreciate all the people who've become my friends over the years. They've helped me through some rough patches and I appreciate all of them for that.

I have been a member here since 2006. I get lost sometimes and don't make it in from time to time. So many people from my early days have gone now. I have had some people I should Thank myself; they have been there for me when I have had to deal with some of what I have been dealing with concerning my daughter.

I think that that accepting nature and the inquiring minds that like to learn about others is what makes mylot a unique and special place for us all. i believe I will have been here 16 years in November. I feel sad when people talk about thinking it may go under. I do not think that would happen. MyLot is friendship, conversation, and learning, along with a very small pay incentive to participate. It is a big deal in a sometimes trying world.

That is so true. I think people have talked about Mylot going under for years now. I'm it is inevidible that it will go at some point but hope that is not for a while yet to come. I hope that by that time, if I am still around, that we have found another place to go. I would sure share a new find if I ever come across one. Even if the new place didn't pay it would be nice to remain friends and check in.

Mylot has had its share of odd people sometimes. I have been here 15 years and have blocked a few people. But that was many years ago. Have not come across any weird people last few years. This site is indeed a blessing for us. I have made quite a few friends though have not had the opportunity of meeting anyone.

Awwww . . . and thank you for being there for many of us! This place is my second home. Yah, there have been some oddballs here and there, but overall I really have enjoyed the company of our friends here. Here's to many more years!!!

@celticeagle I also wrote manuscripts, we bought our first computer in 1979, but Interned did not exist until 1989. The actual Internet Protocol started in 1991. We had other services to trade online before, very expensive and cumbersome.
Congratulations for being in myLot for so long, it's 7 years for me.

I have been here quite a long time too. I had been blocked by some. I do respect them. I never block anyone here. If you I don't like their comment, I simply ignore it.
