Well, we still have water in the basement. Hubs wants to look for his sump pump and see if it's still working. He hasn't done that so far. I think we should just call the sewer guy back here and let him figure out what the problem is. First world problems....
52 days until spring!
Breakfast - Apple cinnamon bar
Lunch - Lentil soup
Dessert/Snack - Cake and decaf coffee
Dinner - An apple and some broccoli
What did you eat yesterday?

I would have already called the plumber.
I ate steamed broccoli for breakfast yesterday, Cheddar cheese, broccoli and chicken for lunch and chicken nuggets and green beans for supper.
I hope you get things figured out today. Good luck.

@LindaOHio I was more thinking about his tendency to put things off. But yes, there's still a clog somewhere.

@DaddyEvil He's the world's worst procrastinator. Makes me nuts. I have to constantly push him which makes him mad. It's a vicious cycle! :-D

I wanted to call the sewer guy; but hubs wants to pump out the basement. Makes no sense because there obviously is still a clog somewhere.

@rebelann The sewer guy had Monday off; and I left a message at the home office but they haven't returned my call as yet.

Yesterday I had a pecan banana muffin for lunch and we had round steak slowly done in the oven yesterday with potatoes, gravy and green beans for supper.
I think that you should encourage him to get the sump pump working because after your tank being off for so long it may not start back up again.

As soon as the water is gone, we are going to replace the water heater since it's over 20 years old.

@marlina Finally got him to go down the basement. The water is still there; so we called the sewer company again. Hopefully they will come out tomorrow morning.

Yesterday I had cereal, salad and chicken.
About sump pumps. Last year my husband installed one in our crawl space. It is amazing how it works. It is amazing he put it in himself. But then he is very handy in building things.

Hubs is thinking about having a sump pump installed. We've always had one in the houses we've lived in.

I hope your water problems get cleared up during the week. I slow-cooked a small chicken in broth and the cats are eating it up like crazy, I do get some and tomorrow I am looking forward to have some of the jellied broth but I don't mind sharing with them, I hope you have a good start to the new week,
