Meals - 2/26/23

Due to the basement flooding and not having heat or hot water, it's been about a month since our housekeeper has been here. She will be coming today; and there's a lot of things for her to do. I'm still planning on going to get my labs done on Wednesday because it's going to be really warm. I received a $10 off coupon via email for Red Lobster; so a dinner there may be in our future.
What's new with you?
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes. Originally hubs had made me some frozen chicken wings. They were so fatty and so disgusting that I couldn't finish them. I think I need to write a note to the manufacturer.
Dessert/Snack - Pumpkin pie with Cool Whip and decaf coffee
Dinner - Protein bar

Chicken taco salad for lunch (fine), chicken noodle soup for dinner (pain).
I had my dermatologist appointment today. Tomorrow is for the car (oil change), and then my primary care doctor on Wednesday.

@LindaOHio — fine. He lobbed off what insurance will let him (which, honestly, is fine with me). Car appointment was fine, too.

How did your dermatologist appointment go? Every time hubs goes to his, it seems he has something that needs to be cut out or off. Good luck with your appointment tomorrow.

Beautiful cockatoo, I baked a chicken leg quarter and then shredded the chicken meat and added it to rice I fried with soy, diced tomatoes, and spinach,

I've never actually been to Red Lobster. If I ate seafood I'd go there. My mom got us lamb hearts so we are gonna make them today. Looking forward to that. Hubby butchered and marinated them last night. All we gotta do is fry them up in a cast iron skillet.

@LindaOHio They were pretty good. We had them last night and then later for some reason hubby was nauseous and even threw up. And he hasn't been okay all day today. Wonder why. Can't be the hearts as I am fine.

Hope you have a nice dinner when you decide to hit up Red Lobster, which I am sure you will. I am going to have to order in for some Chinese real soon. Getting a craving.
For dinner we kept it really simple and just had ham sandwiches with some French fries.

Nothing fun happening here... I have a bunch more phone calls I need to make after 8 am today... So my sleep will be cut short.
The tornado sirens keep going off in our city tonight. I've heard them three times. (Pretty said she heard them four times.) Strong winds keep blowing here but the storms have stopped for the moment. It's been 50F since yesterday afternoon.
Uhm... I ate a turkey sausage and cheese croissant yesterday for breakfast, some chicken taquitos with steamed broccoli for lunch and had some Green Onion Lay's Chips for supper.

That's good that she will finally come back today and can get some things done.
