I hope all our members in Kentucky are OK after the storms yesterday. We had heavy rain here but no real storms. Hubs will check the basement later. Still planning on going to Red Lobster later today. What are you doing today?
17 days until spring.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Vegetable Lasagna, succotash, carrots, pineapple and mini vanilla wafers
Dessert/Snack - Pistachio muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - Nature Valley Almond Butter Biscuit
What did you eat yesterday?

It was bad here too. 60 mph wind. I'm off so it's mowing time.

Beef stew for lunch, potatoes and peaches for dinner.
Thanks for your concern, my block doesn’t have any damage that I saw….just no electricity. The electric company won’t even hazard a guess as to a restoration time because of the amount of power lines down (the estimate is 1400) and number of people (80,000 in Louisville alone).

We will be doing Red Lobster in a few weeks. Waiting for my grandson's money to come in first. Enjoy!

You will enjoy it; but the prices there have skyrocketed.

@celticeagle I think some merchants are taking advantage of the inflation.

The s**w has been staying north of us; and the bad storms have been staying south. We just got some heavy rain.

Enjoy your Red Lobster. I still may take the wife soon. Not favorites on my list, but we have not been there in ages.
Wow, that countdown is getting exciting.
For dinner I made what most would probably consider that "weird one." Fried up some kielbasa and shrimp in the wok, then added in some onions and green and red pepper. Added in cooked white rice, sprinkled in some garlic powder, and tossed in that sweet red sauce the Chinese restaurant gave us with our order the other day.
Yummy even if some might think it doesn't sound that good. For us, it is a rather "staple" dish. Mom loved it too and had several helpings of it.

March can still bring us ice and heavy, wet s**w. I'll be glad when it's April.

@LindaOHio I am not even going to cook. I will put in the oven something I already cooked and it's now in the freezer.

Thanks. It's been a tough winter for a lot of southern states.

Hope you enjoy that meal out if you do go. We had no rain or snow for a change. Just cold and windy.
I don't think I would enjoy any of the meals you had yesterday lol

It's a bar that has peanuts, etc. in it which gives you protein and fills you up instead of a big meal.

@LindaOHio Oh, I think I kinda like rarely see it. Maybe because I don't eat protein bar. If you don't tell me this is a protein bar, I may think that this is just a normal snack block.

So far the basement is dry. It's a good thing we did some traveling while we were still able.

It will be in the 30s for a few days. The long-term forecast says much of the same.

We just had wind and heavy downpours of rain all night. It wasn't as bad as they predicted thank goodness.
Enjoy your trip to Red Lobster
Last night we had chicken, broccoli and potatoes.

RL was really good, but expensive. Your dinner sounds good.
