Who doesn't love pizza?
Whether you live in Dallas, Texas in the US or in Australia you have pizza restaurants or you can make your own. Pizza is known around the world.
What toppings do you like on your pizza? Is there a pizza restaurant in your country; or do you make your own? Do you like your pizza heated up or do you eat it cold out of the refrigerator?
I usually order meatball, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and black olives. Sometimes I will substitute the bacon for pepperoni. What about you?

Ohhhh, that's just so mean of you
Now you have me craving pizza but here the 2 joints that deliver make the worst pizzas.
Next time I'm across town I'm going to Ardovinos where they make the best pizza I've ever tasted. Of course this is in El Paso where Mexican food is the best and most often served.
Well, that does it, I'd better get started on my breakfast.

@rebelann We are surrounded by nurseries; so there's a lot of Mexicans here, hence all the Mexican restaurants.

Our local places aren't good either. We go to our Pizza Hut instead. That's about all we have here locally are Mexican restaurants. There's only one other restaurant that has OK food...not great, just OK.

The pizza that is my favorite is oddly the spinach pizza from CiCi's pizza. I don't know what kind of sauce they use instead of tomato, but it's delicious. I haven't had that pizza in about eight years though, and I don't actually eat pizza often at all. When I do, it's usually just pepperoni.

I wonder if the spinach pizza had an Alfredo sauce on it? Pepperoni is good too.

Yes, we like pizza. At the Dillons (kroger) grocery we can get a Philly Cheese Steak pizza--it has a white sauce. At Gambinos we get a Polynesian Pizza--it has ham and pineapple and bell peppers, tomatoes and black olives. Hubby likes their crust best. We go to a regional buffet chain called Pizza Ranch that is a buffet, plus it has fried chicken too. Today we will go to Little Caesar's after lunch and hubby will like order a three meat pizza.

I'm surprised that there is still a restaurant that has a buffet. Most of them disappeared during the pandemic. I would love a pizza buffet!

Well, I sort of don’t. Too many points for my diet. Although, I do like a “matzah pizza”: get a matzah piece, put sauce on it (I use the chunky spaghetti sauce because it kills two birds with one stone: toppings AND sauce!), throw on some cheese and whatever you want, and stick under a broiler for a couple of seconds until the cheese bubbles. Perfect single-serving size, and it’s “thin-crust” style!

@FourWalls That's a lot of weight to lose. Good job! I could lose hundreds of pounds; and I would still be here.

Pizza Hut and Domino's dominate the Pizza scene here.
My favorites are Red Bell Peppers, Mushroom, Olives and Jalapeno.
Our next Pizza eating is planned after a few weeks.
I don't think I would eat a Pizza straight from the Fridge!

K and I love pizza. My favorite is her homemade pizza. We have many pizza restaurants in town. Some chain stores like Dominos, Papa John's, and Little Ceasars, none of which make "real" pizza in my book. We do have two locally owned places that make decent pizza. One makes NY style and the other Boston style. Both are good, but neither can match K's homemade.

We used to have a place, when we lived in West Allis, a suburb of Milwaukee, we LOVED called Tarantino's on 68th and Cleveland. Not that you would know where that is—an SEO habit? lol. But it was one of the best pizzas to this day I have ever had and miss it quite a lot.
Around here, I live on the Illinois side of the river near St. Louis, the big thing is IMO's and I think their pizza sucks. lol

There are pizza restaurants here (they are called pizzerie), but to have a good pizza, I cross the border and I go to Italy.
I like the classic Italian Marghrita (tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil) At home I make pizza with cherry tomatoes and black olives, or the "marinara) only tomato sauce, garlic and anchovies no other toppings.

@LindaOHio - Both my husband and I are from the north of Italy, not big fans of pizza. When I prepare at home I use cherry tomatoes and canned tomatoes and some black olives, no cheese.

@LadyDuck I never used to like pizza. I love it now. My grandmother used to make just the pizza dough for me with olive oil on top. Yuck!

I would pass on the garlic and anchovies. I don't make a good Italian because I don't like a lot of garlic or onions.

I like it hot or cold. I enjoy so many toppings. A great pizza has sauce, several meats, mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers and lots of cheese.

I'm a plain cheese person but if I'm going to have a topping I pretty much like pepperoni. We have a place nearby that makes good pizza and it's always nice to have extra leftover to reheat. I'm not fond of it cold though

As an ardent pizza enthusiast, I must confess that here in Pakistan, our culinary preferences take a different turn. While we appreciate the indulgence of roasted meats like goats, lambs, and beef, our hearts truly belong to a flavorful delicacy known as biryani. It's a dish that holds a special place in our hearts and satisfies our taste buds in unique ways.

Biryani is slowly cooked rice with a lot of spices, vegetables or some meats and sometimes garnished with a few dry fruits.
It is a delicacy of quite a few places across South Asia - India, Pakistan and probably Bangladesh.
In India, Hyderabadi Biryani is well known.
For me, curd is a good choice with Biryani.

I like pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives and bell peppers on pizza. Sometimes we make our own and sometimes we order it out. When we get it out, it is usually Papa John's or Dominos.

Everything. Well, almost everything. I like supremes to the extreme. Toppings l like are mushrooms, onions, red peppers, green peppers, black olives, sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, regular bacon. I don't like anchovies and no thank you on pineapple. The Apondonza we get from Pizza World comes with 12 toppings. We do both, order out and make our own, although we order out more than make our own. But when we do make our own we cheat and buy a version of those Boboli crusts.
As for cold or hot. Fresh hot of course. But I will eat cold pizza any day no worries, no problems, and actually prefer it most of the time.
Pizza always satisfies.
